I think it comes down to Alabama themselves.
If they beat Clemson most of the criticism will stop.
If they lose it will be an endless "but the Ohio State."

True, but you could also just say that Ohio State could've beaten Clemson when they're at their best as well.

Michigan loss aside, Auburn is still getting punked and Ohio State's resume looks much better than Bama's at the moment.

Its college football dude, its any given Saturday.

Bama “was not supposed to be in it” but just put #1 to shame.

All of it is unpredictable and it is amazing.
