Cup RACE thread --- Bristol dirt

Passive, I think is a better word. He's loaded with talent, but he doesn't have that killer instinct some athletes seem to have

I agree. He’s very talented. Maybe he doesn’t believe in himself as a driver. Something is missing in the killer instinct with that kid.

Not a lot you can do when the guy behind you decides 8 tires are better than 4 in the final corner. What would the killer move have looked like there?
That's not the point. It's just the entire attitude. And he said he should have done a better job, and could have done a better job. I don't know man. Maybe it would have been good for an extra 10th for 2-4 consecutive laps at some point there?

Myers just referred to Kyle Busch as an "old timer"

Holy **** we are getting old.

Passive people are more likely to get fuked with then aggressive people. Every driver knows there's no consequence for wrecking him

Call it like I see it. Aggressive wasn’t even on the adjective list.
What are you supposed to do in that case?

Can't be aggressive, on the offense, when a last minute bonzai move is made. Seen Reddick go off a few times, most recently at Custer in Xfinity, some years back.

Race is over, all you can do is move on at that point. All depends on your definition of move on is.

That's just human nature, unfortunately. Assertiveness is a good quality to have.

He did. "Kyle Busch wins one for the old timer crowd" or something like that.

Which, he is. Year 18. That's a full career for most drivers.

I'm not saying there hasn't been entertaining moments in this race, but I just can't get behind this having a place as a points paying race.

Exhibition, sure why not!

These drivers are professionals and they are just going to have to practice and get better. It's to exciting not to be a points race. I think the race will just get better every year. I sure hope they do it again next year because I want to go and there is no way I'm traveling that far if it's on pavement.

I was more so referring to his career at this point. He’s not an aggressive driver. He doesn’t even sound like a confident driver when he has a microphone in his face.

When you’re leading, there’s not much more you can do if your lead isn’t insurmountable except hope the second place guy drives with some respect.

And because of the win and you’re in format, Briscoe literally had nothing to lose with that move. He’s still in the playoffs.

I was just using no cap to prove I'm totally not old
That went way over my head... You're efforts to deflect your oldness has just shed a light on mine.

I've been posting on NASCAR forums since I was a sophomore in highschool, I'm 30 next month man. ****** wild.
