They're all logging laps to some extent in every race. Single file stretches at plate tracks is still exciting. People still still check up here and there and there's still enough nonsense to keep the carnage fans interested. But generally speaking it just speaks of more intelligent/respectful racing and imo a better race from start to finish. You simply had to be more cautious back in the day because of the legit danger.
