I'm actually proud of NASCAR right now. I feel like that tire carcass on the access road would've definitely been a caution five years ago.

A caution with 25 laps to go wouldn’t have warranted a “This changes everything” comment. They’re waiting till 5 to go.

SVG is at least a couple of years away from being competitive on ovals in Cup. That already puts his rookie year at 36-37. Going stock car oval racing at 34 is really late.
