It’s been more competitive than last year, but whether the new surface just rubbered in, the temps preserved the tires, or whatever, the wear isn’t what the drivers raved about on Friday evening. Still not a bad race IMO, but back to the drawing board I think.

I also don’t really get not mandating the use of both tires - kinda defeats the purpose of trying to create speed differentials.

Also, significantly faster speeds = more aero. They’re ripping around this place now. Once you could get on a guy’s door you could hold it pretty well though. Just difficult to complete a full pass.

Geoff Bodine lapped the entire ****en field in 1994. I remember it well. First race I grew up watching where I remember being so bored I couldn’t watch anymore. But the Truck races were always good.

Granted the early days of the Craftsman Super Truck Series were the best days.
