Tv reports that he didn’t know which rear. Chase clearly said right rear on radio. Way to cover for your boys NBC.

Edit: replay clearly showed left rear, which is where Denny got him. Chase did say Right rear on radio.
 
Not sure anyone has had a worse 3 race stretch this late in the season.

Bring on Daytona smh.

Had a legitimate shot at winning this thing today. Probably the worst 3 weeks of being a race fan that I've ever experienced.
 
Did Hamlin cut his tire down? Second time Hamlin's the reason Elliott misses the final four.

If I was Chase, I'd make damn sure Hamlin doesn't win the championship. But Chase isn't like that.

Chase was worried about fender damage. Gustafson told him it looked good. He also reported hitting something “solid” coming back on track under caution. I know it’s a weak excuse, but I was bordering respecting Denny again. I need that hatred. :(;)

I love blaming Denny, and that’s what I choose to do, but he did report hitting something with the left side returning to the track from the pits.
 
And whoever builds the #9 car needs to lose his ******* job, Chase wouldn't have been in this position if he didn't have a gear failure at Martinsville. Chase has been battling mechanical failures the entire ******* year, It isn't mechanical gremlins. Clearly, it's a personnel problem

Thats life sometimes. It just wasn’t meant to be this year. Chase will get his championship. Mr. H has some work to do fixing this program still.

Go Blaney! Him winning the title would definitely be a huge exposure of what a farce this points system is. Almost as good as if Newman would have won without a win.
 
I think Hamlin and Elliott has had the best cars today and unless someone else can find some more speed this may be Hamlin's day.
