Cup RACE thread --- Pocono, No. 1

So according to Cliff, 18 is gonna have to make 2 more stops, and has to pit end of stage. 24 and 5 have to make 1 more stop and are staying out.

It may come down to yet another HMS 1-2

18 may be following my goofy strategy lol.

Getting some playoff points. Gonna restart stage 3 outside the top 10 most likely. May ride around for a better starting spot tomorrow.

Based on the video of that restart, Ricky wasnt the only car laying back. Looks like he got picked out.

If you mean he's lead more today that he has all season, you should say that, instead of "who's lead most all season".

I was told the Toyotas have nothing for the Chevys.

Lead Toyota pulling away from Chevy in P2.

Nascar doesn't need to throw a caution for that.

He spun out of the groove, saved it and settled facing forward towards pit road.

That Chevy in p2 is on the same tires he started the race in.

Kyle Busch had 25 laps fresher tires lol

Bad race calling by Kyle Busch's crew chief. Everyone has to pit one more time, so unless a timely yellow goes his way, he's gonna have to make up a lot of ground by the time everyone cycles through to the end.


Are we ending the stage under yellow? If so, this strategy wouldn't even have given him another stage 1. Damn

18 should have just stayed out to win the stage and come at the end of stage 2.
