Cup RACE thread --- Talladega, Rd. 2

Jimmie was definitely a player. Was hoping he and Chase could stick around together for the end.

Theyve had no luck this chase.

48 looked like the best car here today. Driven from 20th to the top 5 the last two runs

There was a time in this sport where drivers that intended on pitting got into position to pit somewhere coming down the backstretch and not coming out of turn four. What the heck do they expect? Get out of the racing groove if you intent on pitting Double J. :idunno:

I think they are pitting as soon as they think they can make it to the end of the stage. Tires don't mean hardly anything here but in the booth it's a different story..
Yeah, I believe the fuel run is shorter than the tire run .

LMAO, "Chevy On The Move" and its all Ford drivers

They still aren't showing Matt's car. Does he have a sponsor they don't like? What the...?

He is not a house hold name driving for a top tier team and is not in the final 10 races, so NBC cant not care about him

I would be happy if people would stop complaining about the opposite of what they complained about yesterday.
It's NASCAR fans, they are never happy unless they are complaining about something.

He's out in front by himself. What's to see? There ain't no 'Big One' gonna happen up there.
It's important to express righteous indignation about how badly his sponsor is being treated.
After the debris caution was thrown, several cars on track ran over the debris.

Nobody except NASCAR was concerned about the thin piece of rubber.
It appeared to be a perfect winter cover for somebody's radiator.

Do they have those in Dallas?

Guess, they were worried that they weren't going to capture it like the 48 mishap. Of course, nothing happened though.

They took their time to fix it, should be good to go now. Just gotta get back up front.
The draft can fix a lot of things , as long as he stays in it.
