Daytona 500 Pole Day

LOL at Darrell "you can't make this stuff up". Well yes, you can. They just made it up (probably after a large quantity of adult beverages):XXROFL:

Wait for Thursday night. Since Jimmie is locked into the front row, he'll go to the other side of the track and ride around solo like he does in practice.

Remember, you read it hear first.

If I were a Daytona front row winner, I'd ride around for a lap and park my car in the Duels.

Please.

Oh look Jeff Gordon is on the pole for his final Daytona 500......What a coincidence....

Mikey in the booth = free advertising for Aaron's ?

Congrats to Gordon and his fans. I'm extremely disappointed with him that he didn't come out and tell it like it is. Great opportunity for a voice of this sport to bring about change. Probably tough to do in his situation. I do think the displeasure with this format will be heard though through other drivers and disgruntled fans.

Didn't take to long for it to start I see, fun thing will be the ones who said it for Danica and Austin who don't for Jeff. Where I said Nascar didn't fix any of the 3.

Heh, heh, heh...

Patrick's the big story for '13. Wins the pole.

Dillon and the return of the 3 last year. Wins the pole.

Gordon's the big story with his last Daytona 500. Wins the pole.

What a surprise, huh?
the whole cluster puck is ok now that Jeffy is on the pole...not a cross word from either of the Hendrick boys. disappointing from this end.

Honestly, it's hard to feel any satisfaction after that, even with Jeff on the pole. Maybe it was tough for him in his situation, like you said but I didn't like what he had to say either.
Maybe that's how he really feels though. Plus, after you win the pole, I'm sure you feel better about everything overall.
