Daytona RACE thread ---

FS1 should of called that the Dale Jr post race show, times like this, I sooooooooooooooooooooo miss Wind Tunnel
 
good much needed win for jr / nascar !

kleenex should sponsor denny......post race interviews..... "kleenex girl " handin him tissues......etc...etc

nascar's new #3 messiah.....may find phoenix drivers less receptive ? ha!
 
I saw Dale Jr. win the Daytona 500...honest win, he led the most laps and held off all the big shots. And big mouths.

Dude legitimately loses his sh!t whenever a Hendrick car beats him. I remember back in 07 how he used to cry everytime Gordon won and he finished second.
 
Jimmie's 5th championship was by far my favorite with Denny sitting in the pits after the race holding back the tears :growl:

I have to say though, dude made moves without a spotter on that GWC. Bigger moves than had to be made in the days of pit boards.

He's talented, no doubt about it. Just can't stand his attitude and incessant whining when things don't go his way.
 
Leave Denny alone! Christ y'all can't cut him any slack? y'all keep complaining about how drivers don't show emotion and then scold them for showing it! That was a hell of an effort, good job Denny and Jeff too.

I think it's more interesting when a driver actually tells ya whatsup instead of rattling off sponsors and putting on a front. but hey Jimmie's the best no denying that

It is - as long it's not Hamlin doing the telling ;) I think that there's a list around here somewhere of drivers who are permitted to state whatsup and those who are whiners and cry babies for doing the same. You'll get used to this place if you hang around long enough.

Basically, worship the HMS deity, all things Danica and you'll do just fine :)

Not sure about that. Looks to me Kyle was being too aggressive. First it looked like he was trying to upset the #2 by grinding back and forth on his bumper on the restart, than he dropped back and got right on Harvicks door and got him loose.
 
I wish the announcers would have covered Denny's radio issues during the race. No radio for 300 miles at Daytona is a big effing deal.

Some dumbasses watched the rerun of last year's 500 during the rain delay and believed that they were watching the 2014 race.

Faux News reported it on air, on twitter and on their website. But then again, they've never cared about facts or accuracy so I give them credit for being consistent.
