Daytona RACE thread

Don't remember which track, but I remember the race NASCAR screwed Kurt Busch out of a win. It was around the time Kurt's girlfriend accused him of assault.

Kurt was leading towards the end, and NASCAR threw BS "debris" caution, after BS "debris" caution, after BS "debris" caution, after BS "debris" caution until Kurt finally couldn't keep the lead on a restart.

NASCAR intentionally went into overtime to screw Kurt out of a win in that race.

And how they kept him out of the Daytona 500 when it was proven later that she was a complete quack. Guilty till proven innocent

It was Fontana in 2015 right after he came back from his suspension. Kurt was clearly headed toward a win when NASCAR threw an absolutely ridiculous late caution.

The Weather Underground radar is acting up, so I don't have a good animated radar to post on here.

But, looking at the radar, it looks like the storm may pass just barely north of the track.

In other words, the track may stay dry, and the race may resume in a little while.

NOAA radar looks the same.

Just left the track in disgust which I do 90% of the time that I come here. Why in gods name was there not a caution for Harvick???

Raining about a mile up the road right now.

90% certain this race is getting restarted. No sense agonizing over Kurt getting hosed.
As a fan of Kurt Busch, I am not wasting time agonizing over it.
