You don’t have to go into great detail.Comments will get deleted.
maybe this is more about tanner, the guy thats beens the money, it sure looked like they worked together well. we will see if it helps them both.Go ahead, rip this apart if you feel you must.
Hailie Deegan gets a new crew chief for final 6 races of 2022 in NASCAR's Truck Series
Hailie Deegan isn't lacking in Truck Series popularity, but she'd like to add some front-pack finishes to her marketing muscle.www.yahoo.com
Neither are in the playoffs, so now is as good a time as any to do something differentmaybe this is more about tanner, the guy thats beens the money, it sure looked like they worked together well. we will see if it helps them both.
Preece seems to run pretty well.the r-f experts say it isn't the equipment so for sure we have to rule that out.
It’s worth noting that she’s not racing for an upper-tier, big-money operation. The Gilliland team, in nearly five seasons, has four Truck Series victories in a combined 235 starts with a wide variety of drivers.

Oh no man, we're supposed to admit that the equipment sucks and that every other driver is out to crash Hailie on purpose because "she's a girl" and "they're scared that if she finishes, she'll win."
What's funny is that many of Hailie's fans hated Danica, sees Hailie as the anti-Danica, yet they do the exact same stuff Danica apologists did.
You can pretend that female drivers don't get wrecked because they are females all you want, but I have witnessed it firsthand and and I have actually HEARD a driver on the local level saying "There is no way in hell some F*****G woman going to outrun ME". Twenty minutes later he used that woman up on the track so bad she had to pit with BOTH left side tires flat. The fact that she was the daughter of one of the regular male competitors bought her no favor with some of the guys there.
The "experts" have shown up.Go ahead, rip this apart if you feel you must.

Danica had the same problem complaining that they keep getting wrecked, but in reality given the equipment she was in she shouldn't even have been back there racing with those guys in the first place.Am I pretending that it doesn't happen?
By the way, every race Hailie Deegan has ever won in asphalt racing, she's done so by wrecking someone on purpose. While girls get wrecked out because they're girls, I've seen it happen, Hailie went out of her way to carve out a reputation as someone who "won't take **** from the boys" and "isn't afraid to race rough."
But if she gets wrecked, it absolutely has to be because of "misogyny."
I called Todd Bodine out for driving through her. When Hailie wrecked him, I said he had it coming. I call it as I see it. Most of her wrecks are because she's running in 25th place around squirrels and gets caught up in that mess. The easy way to avoid that is to run in 5th place instead.
Danica has whole reels of her wrecking herself with nobody around. No so in this caseDanica had the same problem complaining that they keep getting wrecked, but in reality given the equipment she was in she shouldn't even have been back there racing with those guys in the first place.

I'm sure some of her haters will try to find something. Some have proven they live for that. What's to rip apart?
Just proof that, contrary to what Hailie's fans are saying, DGR is committed to getting her up front and contending for wins.
As with most things, there are multiple things that can be and I think are true.
1. Deegan is a talented driver
2. She was probably rushed to Trucks too quickly
3. She isn't in the best equipment
4. She is in equipment capable of running much higher
5. She has been taken out of races an awful lot that weren't her problem.
She’s seems to do half decent in SRX
The one thing I would say to that is that by design or circumstances, she has left behind that rough and tumble reputation she got in Late Models, and it has gotten her nowhere. She has driven with amazing restraint in the Truck Series and doesn’t seem to get ANY respect for it on the track. I agree that a lot of the wrecks aren’t just because she is a female, but she IS racing around a lot of useless idiots that don’t have any respect for ANYONE, especially her. If somebody wants to make the case that she doesn’t belong in Trucks, well fine, but then lets also admit that at LEAST a third of the field deserves to be there even less than she does.Am I pretending that it doesn't happen?

I don't disagree with you, I was concerned about her results against the EXTREMELY weak ARCA fields, BUT, sometimes I think you become a product of the group you hang out with. That's one reason I DO want to see her in an Xfinity car and see if she can up her game hanging out with a better crowd.Given that many of those squirrels around her are in inferior equipment, that's the worrying part of her being back there. A lot of those guys don't have trucks capable of finishing in the top-10 or contending for wins regardless of their talent level. But she does.
She wasn't any better than drivers of that caliber in Pro Late Models either.
This is what I mean about low expectations and low bars.I don't disagree with you, I was concerned about her results against the EXTREMELY weak ARCA fields, BUT, sometimes I think you become a product of the group you hang out with. Yep I think you have it. She hung out with the wrong crowdI don't disagree with you, I was concerned about her results against the EXTREMELY weak ARCA fields, BUT, sometimes I think you become a product of the group you hang out with. Just to be clear, I'm not necessarily advocating for her to get a full time Xfinity ride, just a few starts, if nothing else to see if the cars might better suit her driving style. (think Jimmie Johnson) Whether you agree with the decision or not, a lot of effort (and money) has been expended on her career so far and they might as well find out for SURE that there is nothing there to work with. At least she is not a menace on the track like like about half of her fellow truck racers. At IRP, she was in the middle of a hornet's nest all night with a poor handling truck, and I didn't really see a scratch on her truck after the race. That may not count for a LOT, but I think it should count for SOMETHING.This is what I mean about low expectations and low bars.
If she was a man, we’d be saying she hasn’t proven she’s good enough to move up and complaining about the system that allows ride buying or whatever. But in Hailie’s case, it’s that she needs to move up because it’s literally everyone else’s fault she hasn’t won yet.
My mother always said not to hang out with the wrong crowd!Yep I think you have it. She hung out with the wrong crowd
She's a social media influencer that moonlights as a NASCAR driver.
