I can't see much value in taking a lot of risk in this race unless you are actually having to race your way into a starting postion on Sunday.

Just get comfortable and try to ensure your car works well in the draft, maybe figure out your fuel milage and most importantly keep the car clean for Sundays race.

Honestly, a chartered team riding around in their Duel is a smart strategy. They're already in the show and outside of the pole position, starting position at Daytona really doesn't matter.

Only exception is if you have a shot at the win, even then, points aren't worth wrecking your primary car.
