Fall/Winter Weather Thread (2014-2015)

The Blue Angel's have their homecoming shows this weekend. A Friday night show which should be really crazy and Saturday and Sunday daytime shows. Except for practicing, these are the last shows until next March 14th. The weather is supposed to be perfect for it. :D

Im so jealous. Hope you go and take some pics you can share.

7 inches of rain here since October 15th. It's rained every day except one.

Looks like it's going to get cold for a lot of people here soon! Here in NWA, we could see possibly an inch of snow next weekend!

Left work early because the snow was piling up. Got stuck in the parking lot. It isn't expected to stop until tomorrow so I'm thinking a day off might be nice.

Bad weather is relative. Where I live when the temperature gets down to 50 degree's it pisses me off.
The only good thing that I can think of when it come to winter is that I don't need ice to keep my bucket of beer cold while I sit in our hot tub. ;)

The thing that I hate most about winter is having my newly licensed daughter and my son driving on the road daily with all of the idiots. It is a constant concern that ages me each time they head out of the house.

Relatively speaking, to most people up north it's NOT cold --- but to this thin-blooded Texan it is. LOL
Highs for the next few days --- mid 40s
Lows at night --- upper 20s/low 30s

It's unusual around here for this kind of cold in November.

It was 22 with a 15 mile wind straight out of the north this A.M. It was 77 day before yesterday. Not as cold as the great white north, but not bad for Oklahoma, feels cold to me anyway. Had a hard freeze, so without the bugs I have been woods walking and checking out all the colors. Leaves should start falling pretty hard real soon. I have a good start on the wood cutting already, and a roaring fire going. Talking snow flurries this weekend.

^ Winter in Florida is not that bad, Andy.

Until ladies start whipping out the Ugg boots at about 60 degrees...

The temperature now, 2PM Central, is 39 degree's. Low tonight is supposed to be 28.

Shop i was in today (at school mind you), was 38 degrees this morning and 50 this afternoon. That's with the heater on.

41 right now. Woke up to white stuff covering the grass but the roads were just wet. I hate this krap.

29 degrees and sunny this morning and the wind died down some.

From the weather station down the street:

Temperature 39.9°F Humidity 58% Pressure 1023.3 mbar
Wind 157°8.1 MPH (Gusts 17.0 MPH)
Rain 0.0 inches/1h 0.0 inches/24h

Got all the way to 46* today -- not one single ray of sunshine. But no wind, here.
Took 2 pickup loads(well, MY size load) to storage cubby. Should have done a 3rd, but my back hurt and nose
got cold. LOL

Temperature 45.0°F Humidity 81% Pressure 1017.1 mbar
Wind 147°8.1 MPH (Gusts 12.1 MPH)
Rain 0.0 inches/1h 0.0 inches/24h

Wind Chill is 20

Temperature 25.0°F Humidity 87% Pressure 1025.7 mbar
Wind 296°0.9 MPH (Gusts 4.0 MPH)
Rain 0.0 inches/1h 0.0 inches/24h

26* for a low, but it looks as if the sun is going to make an appearance for the first time in 3 days -- the first rays are hitting the tops of the trees.
