we have a generator for the race trailer. Just want something where if it's a quicky, TV and internet will stay on. What we need to do is make a generator box to cover it up in close proximity, right now it lives in the mud under the race trailer until needed, which makes it a pain to pull out, especially if raining.Give some thought to purchasing a generator sometime. One of my best investments. In the winter, ours allows us to keep both wood pellet stoves going along with 2 refrigerators w/freezers and a chest freezer. We can also run our main entertainment center along with maintaining an internet connection.
you ok after that nor easter @#17D500winner ?
Power was out for about 8 hrs here just got the snow blower out and finished my driveway and cleaned off my car and the elderly lady next doors car.
Elderly are funny--I told her I was cleaning it off and she said, "ok...one condition...you let me pay you". People like that help me realize the world is going to be ok. She knows we watch her house when she is not there, and she watches ours. Stuff like that is pure gold.
All we got was rain (a lot of rain) and a bit of wind. I live close enough to the South Shore that the snow belt is just North enough to sometimes keep it wet and not white. Although, western NS didn't get hit at all, afaik.
It sure looked like a mess in your area. Good to see you made out okay.
4 inches of snow overnight. 24 degrees this morning. Black Friday shoppers are having a tough go of it. Lot's of wrecks on the roadways this morning.
I hear towing is 50% off, today only. They may be spending their Black Friday cash on towing fees and vehicle repairs.
Thank you but that sounds like too much work.In case anyone is interested, hold down "Alt" key and type in 0176 on a numeric keypad to get the ° symbol.
That's what I call an angry sky!! we gettem all the time.Driving home from work just now.

Then the heavens opened up!
Upper 20's today...had snow last night...getting snow again today.
Speaking of weather, look at the backdrop for tomorrow's Gobbler big block modified event at Accord Speedway. They worked yesterday and today clearing snow from the track and the grandstands. I actually wish I could go, and I hate winter.

36°. Need to get the shorts and polos back out.
Up to 60° -- humidity up, along with the dewpoint.
Didn't realize that when I went out with the chainsaw -- 45 minutes and my tongue is hanging out. *pant, pant, pant*
(and no snide remarks needed, either)
Did get some limbs off the fence and the wire pulled back into place.
It was 26* Monday morning when I left for the Hill Country, but had a bright sunshiny day.
Made the offer on the house I want to buy --- now I wait for the owner to make a decision.
We're in the final stages, Clutch. We agreed on a price and she's getting the repairs done that the inspection found.Did you let us all know what happened and I missed it?
Did the owner agree on your offer or are you still negotiating?
Are you Canadian? What track were you at?very cold saturday night at the race in southern Ontario, could see my breathe... I have no plan in place right now to escape the hell that is winter this year...
Am I the only one who really wants to see a full fledged NASCAR race in the snow? I mean winter tires, snow on the track, drivers wearing mittens.
