Fall/Winter Weather Thread (2014-2015)

71* today. Took advantage and got 2 more loads of cut up limbs out to the burn pile. May get the mower out in a bit and
mulch some more leaves. They all sort of fell at once this year -- no trickle down effect. LOL

High's mid 70s, low's mid 50s all week. Getting a lot done.

I am not Canadian. I was at Barrie Speedway for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race
I raced there in the early 70's, that was our home track. My son lives in Oro and I never got to see races when ever I visited. This summer I will make sure I visit according to CT series schedule.

Great weather this day. Currently 22 and going up to 28. Snowmobile weather for sure.

You wont be disappointed, I've been there for 7 or 8 Canadian Tire Series races, its always an awesome show. They used to go there 2 times a year, only once a year for a while now unfortunately. I think Kawartha is probably my favorite track in Ontario, but its pretty close between it and Barrie, awesome places.

The Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex was warm enough to confortably wear shorts and a t-shirt yesterday.

Shorts and a t-shirt was slightly uncomfortable today with cooler temps.

Tomorrow will be a jeans and long sleeve shirt day.

Ah, the joy of free stuff. A 1970 Simplicity Sno Away. Put on a new fuel filter, cleaned the carb, changed the oil and viola, up and running.
Let it Snow baby.

The small tractor has since been replaced with a 4x4 and a blade.

You can keep those heavy days , Thank you.
As a matter of fact, I'd prefer no snow period
This was last year on My Cub from 1966.The Snowblower that I just got is for her.

Very good. I lost a friend not long ago that just picked up a couple more Cubs to overhaul. When his racing days were over he
liked to work on those things.

Sunset at 8.25pm tonight.
Pretty looking sky over out international terminal. I was working but now I have 3 days off!

Gonna rain crazy tomorrow night. I welcome it but I feel sorry for those in recent burn areas :(.
We are expected to get the heaviest rain in years tomorrow night.

I don't know where you're at Bobby, but I'm in Glendora, but far enough away not to be affected by the mud slides if they happen. Glendora is on a YELLOW Alert status as of right now, but I suspect they'll elevate that later today.

Very heavy rain this morning. 1-1/2 inches per hour. Freeways are flooded.i was up on a ladder yesterday for two hours clearing out the rain gutter on my patio awning. Mandatory evacuations in the burn areas.

Be safe and keep us updated.

It's not raining as bad here in Glendora right now, but it's rained all night.

Just watching the news and they said a confirmed EF zero tornado happened in South L.A. at about 9:30 this morning.
Wack weather here for the past two days.

This season started out with Ice Age weather and now Global Warming weather is back. Mother Nature is having mood swings.
