Final Four

Kes is my pick

I could tolerate Truex as he seems to have some class left

I'd pick "The Closer" next only because he is in a Ford but he still acts like a POS sometimes.

Then there is the actual POS. Will be hoping for an epic meltdown but since I've made that public it probably won't occur. But it's always fun when it does. Lol

Kez seems to be in one of those destiny modes. After Texas and M'ville, he should have been out of it. Funny how Denny and Kyle (who cost him a bunch of points at Texas) worked together to get him in. Kyle moved Denny and took the M'ville win, and Denny decided to wreck instead of race at M'ville and paid the bill today. Those are some big swings in the #2's destiny, and he pretty good at Homestead.

I'll be rooting for Kes but I have a good track buddy who is a huge 78 fan so I have a 50-50 shot. Least option is the 18 but he very well may work all of them. He ran great all year. I have a hunch Harv will not be a factor, nor Kes. If my choice is 18 or 78 I'm on the 78. No offense to any KyBu fans.

Go Fords!!!
Want The 2 or 4 to be the champ
78 team deserves it though.
....screw kyle lol

Love the playoffs and was hoping to see the 48 in so Truex would have to beat champions in this format. Still going up against 3 champions so it still pretty good. I'll never understand how people say one race determines the champion. It took all season to get the final four and is alot better than having Truex crowned 2 weeks ago.
I don’t understand it either man lol..
Okay, WHY is it better than Truex securing the title at Texas? The races at Phoenix and Homestead would still be run. Drivers would still be trying to win, improve their final standings, and get some off-season momentum. Those looking for jobs would still be trying to impress owners.

I mean it wouldn’t be exciting if you asked me .. I think having a championship race and having everything on the line for that race is exciting .. all the drivers that’s in the final 4 had to be good to get there..

I'm hoping Brad gets it but I feel that would require circumstance to be in his favor. Really though I think this has to be the most competitive final 4 yet. Three past champs and the guy who absolutely dominated the season. Should be good!

Sometimes the most exciting way isn’t the best way to crown a champion, but that’s just my opinion. I would say according to the numbers, Truex is most deserving of the Cup this year. But I think The Closer will have a little something for everyone in Miami

No one deserves it until they make it to Homestead and beat the other 3

It's like saying someone deserved a race win because they led the most laps and won the first two stages.. but that's not how it works.. you have to finish out the race for that trophy.

What's the difference when it comes to the full season?

Because we get great drama all the way up til Homestead. Winning the championship is all that matters. I could care less who finished 2nd in points and if that is all that's on the line at Homestead then its a meaningless race. Without the playoffs Chase Elliott wouldn't even had a chance to run for a Championship yet he was in the hunt til the last possible moment.

This is simply incorrect.

Without playoff points, Chase is 5th in the standings. He’s certainly in the hunt coming into the last few races.

Its also notable that without the chase/playoffs, Kyle Busch never wins a championship in 2015 nor would he be in contention this weekend at Homestead - nobody would. MTJ would claim the Championship 2 races earlier.

I'm kind of rooting for Truex because IMO he's the most deserving based on his season, and he's the only potential first time champion.
Im rooting for either Truex to win for this same reason

Or Keselowski to win because this playoff format sucks and I want it exposed :D

This is awesome. So many picking Harvick when a month or so ago, the Toyota advantage made it impossible for anybody else to win. The advantage must be gone. Toyota has only won 7 of 9 Playoff races.....and nobody picking Kyle Busch....Perfect. Let's race.

Truex dominates the whole race, gimmicky late yellow. Kyle beats him on late restart for the title

I want to see one of the 4 take one of the other out to win

and then not apologize for it!!!!

Yeah I know he would have clinched by now which is what makes the playoffs so great. Now I don't understand how you say Chase is in the hunt while also saying Truex would have clinched 2 weeks ago. If Truex clinches at Texas no one else is in the hunt.

Ford v. Toyota
David v. Goliath

Hoping the 2 can find some speed, but with their strategy game they may not need it.

Remember all the talk about how SHR was gonna be terrible without Hendrick support?

SHR drivers in Final Four: 1
HMS drivers in Final Four: 0

Who the hell else we going to pick? Pretty much like Brad said months ago. Can't help it Hamlin was so stupid he didn't listen to his crew chief and blew his spot in the Toyota fest this year.

Hoping for Kez. I'll be OK if it's Truex. If Harvick or Busch win, I will slit my wrists (well, not really, just kidding).

By the way...I hate the term "Championship 4". Who came up with that? It rolls off the tongue
Iike chunks of chicken salad...

I think Truex deserves it hands down because of the way his season has gone........ but..... I'd be okay with either Truex, Harvick or Kes......

just don't let Pee Wee Herman slip in there.......

Final Four was already taken so I guess the powers at be let the creative juices flow while figuring out a different name

I am surprised NASCAR didnt coin the phrase September Madness or something on those lines.
