Huh lol. It is part of the procedure, injuries have to be proven. It's in place for a reason.Until they actually deny one getting the waiver is a given

In this climate there is no way nascar would be willing to say - no that injury isn't bad enough for a wavier, get out there and race!Huh lol. It is part of the procedure, injuries have to be proven. It's in place for a reason.
You've missed the point. There is a procedure called a waiver and you can dance around all you want, it is part of the procedure in place. With win and you're in for example, a driver would be able to set out the rest of the season playing video games until the playoffs if there wasn't a waiver procedure in place or race in another series, on an on.In this climate there is no way nascar would be willing to say - no that injury isn't bad enough for a wavier, get out there and race!

That is one reason why there is a waiver procedure.NASCAR has only denied one waiver and that was because the guy didn't have sponsorship for a race. Which was shocking since they grant waivers for suspensions.
In that case he was capable of racing he just didn't. Nothing at all injury relatedNASCAR has only denied one waiver and that was because the guy didn't have sponsorship for a race. Which was shocking since they grant waivers for suspensions.
It's hard to tell what happened or not without a reference article for what Andy is talking about. In that case he was capable of racing he just didn't. Nothing at all injury related
Oh I hope he does get back in the saddle. That was a bummer. That was the first time I had seen Bowman launch like he was on fire. That was where he usually lost spots...and he got tangled up and wrecked grrr.I doubt it.
He’s survived far worse.
As far as I can think Chase has only done some Nitro Rallycross since thenI wonder if this will be it for Bowman and dirt racing in a sprint car. He was just getting started doing it. He might do what Chase did after his climb the fence wreck he had at the Chili Bowl. I don't think Chase has been in a dirt car since.
Win/win until it isn't. No show for The Showman. Coach is looking smarter by the day....and I am thinking that The Felon is getting ready to pull the plug on his benevolence...if he tightens his stance, he loses leverage in the marketplace. Probably be hearing about the stupid milk and cookies meeting soon. The experience outside the Cup races is beneficial though. Look at William Byron and Kyle Larson.
And I don't know if you've paid attention, but NASCAR is making huge investments in their short track program too.
It's a win/win for everyone to have guys like Larson and Bowman show up at dirt tracks, and WIllyB in Super Lates, and Harvick and Berry in CARS Tour.
How many weeks was he out last year with the concussion again? It’s likely a cracked vertebrae. He walked away and crossed the track without a limp.
Healthy, strong young 30 year old. He should heal up quickly.
Maybe he takes up snowboarding?I wonder if this will be it for Bowman and dirt racing in a sprint car. He was just getting started doing it. He might do what Chase did after his climb the fence wreck he had at the Chili Bowl. I don't think Chase has been in a dirt car since.
I can’t recall. How many weeks was he out last year with the concussion again?
I hope Alex does heal quickly, but you strap your ass to a race car or fly through the air on a snowy hill, you run the risk of not being so lucky. These kids are fortunate, and so are we for watching them when they are able to show up.I can’t recall.
Too many concussions.

pfft, lol. 12 seconds ahead of the field on the same tires. How are you going to spin that?Their tire strategy won them that race. Without the track position I don't see Kyle driving thru the field. He wasn't going much of anywhere before that first caution.
That he was mired midfield until Cliff outsmarted the field again and put 4 on when most stayed out. For example, Gustafson had to tell Chase that they were screwed even if he could dream to keep up because for segment 2 the 5 had a set of stickers and 15 lap scuffs while Chase only had one set of stickers per rule because they went entire segment. Once again, Cliff and Kyle are flat eating Alan and Chase's brownies and stealing their lunch money. After 15-20 laps, they were falling off .5-1 second a lap per radios. Combine that kind of advantage with Larson's wheeling and boom. Domination.pfft, lol. 12 seconds ahead of the field on the same tires. How are you going to spin that?
Larson said he made his time in 3 and 4. Maybe the 9 thought so"You're competitive in 3 and 4. He's absolutely killing us in 1 and 2." 9 radio. That was weird to me because from my seat it looked like the 5 was murdering everyone in 3 and 4 with his low concrete patch drive off. It was insane.
What? He was 12 seconds ahead of the field on the 23 lap fresher tires sir.pfft, lol. 12 seconds ahead of the field on the same tires. How are you going to spin that?
Oh that's right. He only had a 10 second lead when they all had the same tires after the competition caution. What? He was 12 seconds ahead of the field on the 23 lap fresher tires sir.
He lost 5 or 6 spots in the first 23 laps and passed nobody. The track position allowed that car to come alive. Obviously a great call to take the tires and he still had to put them to work to get the lead but without that I think we have a different winner.
The bandwagon just got heavier.pfft, lol. 12 seconds ahead of the field on the same tires. How are you going to spin that?
Larson passed those preacher cars like they were tied to a stump. I coulda sworn Larson waved at them when he lapped them. The bandwagon just got heavier.
Amirola didn't even make the show.Larson passed those preacher cars like they were tied to a stump. I coulda sworn Larson waved at them when he lapped them.
They likely wouldn’t have either if they had to race inAmirola didn't even make the show.
