Hendrick Motorsport News

Alright, I'm out on this. Gonna go back to celebrate MY above board 100% legal ass kicking by Tyler Reddick in that TRD powered 100% legal Monster Energy Toyota Camry TRD. Hendrick will always Hendrick. So that I don't have to post this later.....STFU Jeffy and Chad.
That didn't last long.

How is it even breaking a rule unless you try to compete with it?

One can only imagine the parts way outside the box that teams have ran in testing (on track or wind tunnel) over the years to find out how much messing in an area provides gains. Look at all the well placed dents that used to show up on the side panel or how the side skirts "accidently" would get flared out.
They showed up with cheated parts. My argument stands on its own. I don't need to defend it.

Nascar told them to make them fit. Nascar should of looked at them after modifications and yeah ed or naid

A guy with a ski mask and an AK47 outside of a bank has done nothing wrong, right?

That's what Garage 56 is for.

Bull. ****.

100%. Jeffy and Chadly would have you believe that they should be awarded extra points for the embarrassment. I'm sure NASCAR is working on it.

He runs the show, and this part of the show is a real joke man. Really bad. Hard to take this seriously. The '20 Camaro, Garage 56, this....I am sure he is a great human being, but unless you love Hendrick and Chevy, it's hard to take all of this seriously.
Let me help you out, "the show" as you call it hit Hendrick with a Level 2 penalty and collectively the largest fine in NASCAR history. The National Appeals Panel that is run separately of NASCAR held the hearing and they made the decision, not NASCAR and NASCAR is pretty upset with the decision because it opens up a can of worms on the one source parts and tampering. This car was built to stop all of the out of control costs at the owners request and of course all of us knew they couldnt help themselves, now they whine when they get busted. So in summation, Jim France is quite a bit more unhappy then you are.

If NASCAR wants to run the dog and pony show in this manner, then make THEM buy all these parts, qualify them against the design spec and then sell them to the teams. Then there should be no question about whether the parts are suitable for use. The fact that NASCAR has "lost" so many rulings on appeal should be GLARING evidence to them that their approach needs some work. Regardless of which members of the panel hear these appeals, they generally seem to agree that NASCAR's punishments are too heavy handed or poorly thought out. AND, if anyone SERIOUSLY thought that these new cars were going to totally eliminate the desire of teams to gain an edge, they probably also own some "ocean front property" in Kansas.

There have been three penalties pertaining to the Next Gen that I remember.
1.Kez got busted and lost 100 points for body mods
2. The JGR's got busted with tape and both of them were DNQ'd
3. Hendrick with their louvers
4. Kaulig with one louver.
Hendrick had a claim that Nascar's communication about the louvers was the problem. Apparently that or something along those lines was proven to the panel.
BTW that is why they have an independent panel for appeals.
It's over and done but not for some.

I caught Moody saying something last night that something like 5 of the last 7 appeals were reduced or overturned by the appeals panel.

To me this is comical. The panel process that was established by the sanctioning body continues to overrule the sanctioning body that created them lol!

I think What Dale said is what the panel was trying to say, "we're not giving this a serious penalty, because this really doesn't warrant a serious penalty". As to why that might be, you would have to get the panel members to talk, which means we will likely never know. As for the crew chief suspensions, I have said for years that suspended crewman should have to watch the race from a room at the NASCAR tech center without ANY communication devices.

You and Dale can get together and pay the 400 thousand dollar fine that Dale said that the fine means nothing to them lol

Maybe you can help me out some more....It's Jim's show. How about Jim ditch the stupid "National Appeals Panel"? Sounds official, but really, it's just a group that gathers to okay whatever Hendrick does, right? This is a private entity....they are proven guilty whenever the damn sanctioning body says they are. If the owners bail, who the **** cares? This has turned into a bunch of blowhards who say they want to save money--money they have plenty of--and then turn around and pull **** that costs them money. They cannot save themselves from themselves. Remember what Big Bill said....NASCAR was here before you, and it will be here after you. BTW...the Level 2 means literally dick now. Money means nothing to Hendrick in this context.

I will also say this.....I wonder how many manufacturers are interested in this ****. The further spec we go, the more Toyota is unhappy. We go spec, and Hendrick continues to be allowed to do this ****, what the hell is the point anymore? Who the hell would sign up for this? It has become a joke.

...and why won't the panel members talk? Why don't we know details? This is a ****** sport whose credibility is in the ****ter, and this handled like a right to privacy. bull****.

Dump them.
Oh you laugh, but if your boy Amirola is affected....hell to pay. Never met an Amirola fan. Must be lonely. That would explain a lot.
Apparently that or something along those lines was proven to the panel.
You can speculate, but nobody else. What a joke.

Why do they have to? That's not their job.

Heck do we even know if anyone has reached out to them for comment? Oh yeah right the narrative, sorry forgot....

I do find it funny if it was a Toyota who won the appeal, some of the roles here would be reversed.

The fact is, NASCAR, should have waited til after the race was ran, and I’m sure from now on they just might, and then maybe things would be different. They didn’t gain any points with the parts, therefore they shouldn’t lose points because of them.

This thread is like watching my almost 2 year old throw a tantrum. All thats missing is the rolling around on the ground with a red face.

as an HMS fan and a Chevy fan, I wasnt even at all upset when the penalties were handed out. I mean it was not good for Larson and my first thought was "Well that sucks". Then I moved on with my day. When the points were added back yesterday I was like "Oh thats good for Larson." then moved on with my day. I guess you're right in a way if this had happened to say JGR I would find it amusing and probably poke a little fun myself.

This left brand loyalty behind not long after the infractions were announced. Now it's viking helmets and QAnoyota T-shirts and Zapruder footage and Project Blue (Oval) Book and Area G56. The Smoking Man should be along any minute now

Part of me is pumped for Larson, another part of me is pumped to see @Revman go full scorched earth here

But let's not forget that time HIS Toyotas got busted with an illegal engine and after appeal basically got away without punishment

Wrong. Search my post Pocono comments. WE broke a rule. Proud of OUR post penalty response unlike the entitled Hendrick jackasses.

Fact. Never defended nor deflected.
Chad and Jeff both said there was misunderstood communication.
Oh and they are telling the truth for sure. Innocent mistake.Sorry. My bad.
Toyota goggles. I cant help you
Likely not.

I’m getting there.

Byron is running well this year also, so hopefully the 24 and 48 teams can keep up their momentum.
