Hendrick signs Larson

I wouldn’t have created this thread if I knew it was already being discussed.
 
Yea almost a forgettable dale jr download this week. It sounded exactly as one would think.

He doesn’t need to prove anything, glad he’s getting a second chance. We all deserve to have a chance to get better.

Enjoyed the last few minutes of his talk on dales podcast when they actually were chatting about racing as normal. Maybe he can return later for a better conversation with those download folks
 
Here is a pretty good read on why Rick Hendrick didn't try to sign Larson before Ganassi and talks a little about sponsorship. It sounds like Rick will be funding the team out of pocket for a while.

Don't feel bad I get ads on just about every website I go to. In fact when I was about 2 sentences into the article on your site I got a popup that covered the whole article wanting me to sign up for something and I had to click no thanks before I could finish reading it. :)

That figures. Like you said I think it is an important article. Written by a credible source and those are hard to find these days. Good stuff for Larson/Hendrick fans

It is nice to know that Chevy is onboard with the move. I think 2021 may be a pretty good year for HMS. They have a pretty good roster of young talent.
 
after a big penalty, driver usually gets reward from nascar,
maybe a 2022 chase cup for larson, give him a captain highliner sponsor and an indestructable composite rear quarter panel with the new car, could be fun to watch.

Sponsors love a good redemption story, it more than likely leads to more TV time for them.

Hopefully, it works out as planned for the Hendrick group. I for one was one of the biggest skeptics about finding sponsors this coming season, but it might work out for them.

Wait for your tax return. File when your W2 arrives in late Jan and you'll have the refund in a couple of weeks. Plenty of time to have the shirt by the D500.

Two days ago, I would have suggested waiting on a stimulus check, but now it looks like the return will get here much quicker.

Well, that clean look wasn't paying the bills there either, which is why a year and a half later I was back home watching the races on TV. Merry Christmas.
