I hear you brother, but I have always seen him as a threat since he landed at Penske. I look at Joey's year last year as similar to the '78 Yankees (going way back). This was not the greatest team in Yankee history--in fact, many teams who never won it all were far better, but yet, they won the Championship, and that is all that matters. Again, I'll take 3 Kyle wins and a Championship every damn day.

Yeah, and I get that, but Joey and Penske executed last year when it mattered the most, and that personally is my definition of greatness in sport. I understand the arguments against the current format, but it is what it is, and that is the target for the teams and drivers until it is changed.

I hear that.. I definitely prefer 2018 with 3 and the cup to 2015 with 6 and no cup

Absolutely, that's the target, therefore it was a great run he went on for the Championship.
 
What made Logano's Champion run so great was the Final Four competition he had to beat -- and how it unfolded. Three Champions and Joey entered the race for the Championship, and they all had to suffer the ups and downs of the Homestead Bowl. Joey prevailed by driving to the front.

I'd like to see the odds people give him under those same circumstances again. I bet he would have much less people counting him out like they did this time.

So when Logano was asked in his post-race media availability why there was so much perceived complaining on Twitter after the checkered flag, he took the opportunity to share his thoughts that actually encapsulated a much wider assessment of the world today than simply a reaction of sports fans:

I just finished reading that before I came here.. Also saw it live during the post race press conference.. he's not wrong
 
Negative people will always see things under a dark cloud.
I listened to a lady say I would rather die that have my breast removed. An elder women said in response "I wish these dang things didn't always hang and get in my way."
It is all about your perspective. Just like those who spent all winter telling us how bad the racing will be.

Not many drivers in series history were able to get to the Cup Series at such a young age and be able to have this level of success. In fact, the 23rd win broke a tie with Junior Johnson for the fourth-most before a driver's 30th birthday.

The three drivers ahead of him are three of the greatest this sport's had to offer: Richard Petty (60), Jeff Gordon (55) and Kyle Busch (29).
