Kurt Busch: No charges filed.

Like OJ Simpson was innocent? Right!

More to that, OJ was found liable in the wrongful death case against him in civil court.

Civil judgements only require a preponderance of evidence against someone where criminal cases must be beyond a reasonable doubt.

That being said, if Kurt loses in civil court, it will be interesting on how NASCAR handles it. I suspect his best legal advice is to settle this thing outside of court. He has too much to lose beyond what a civil court could do to him.

I'm still in the middle on this. But, If I was on the jury and he told the "She came in with an overcoat and ball gown on that was covered in blood because she was out assassinating terrorists" story. I would have bit the crap outta my tongue just to keep from busting out laughing in the middle of the proceedings. The same with the laying in the floor naked crying to a Brad Pitt movie. What a crock.

So many terrorists and so little time, poor woman didnt even have time to dress appropriately for the job at hand ............... no excuse for ruining a perfectly good dress though

I am about as far as you can get from being a Kurbo fan, the crying on the floor naked and deadly assassin stuff didn't change that. With that being said, she seems like an equal nut job and he is likely innocent. I still have a hard time feeling sorry for him, he has already gotten more chances than he deserved imo.

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Kurt Busch's team owner doesn't know when the suspended driver will be reinstated by NASCAR.

But Gene Haas seemed to indicate Sunday that Busch will be back in the No. 41 when he is cleared to compete. The co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing said the organization wants to know if Busch will be eligible to race for the championship when he returns.

Busch was suspended two days before last month's season-opening Daytona 500 for an alleged domestic assault against a former girlfriend. He was not criminally charged, and NASCAR said Busch is working with them toward reinstatement.

He's missed three races, and would only be eligible for the Chase if NASCAR granted him a waiver.

Haas said after Kevin Harvick gave SHR its first win of the season on Sunday that he has no indication when Busch will be back in the car.

''At this time, that's really up to NASCAR,'' Haas said. ''Some of our concerns are obviously does he come back, could he get into the Chase? Those issues really reside with NASCAR.''

It's looking real good Lisa . He's going through the Nascar mandated program . Allen thinks that will be pretty quick . I don't see that it's up to Nascar when he comes back , it's more likely that it's up to General Motors . Tony needs the ok from chevy .

41 car needs its driver back, it will remain a back marker till Kurt comes back IMO

Chevy is likey waiting for the public to move on to another case . I'd watch for a feeler from them , an announcement that they might have him back someday , to test the waters.

He was a back marker before.

So are two other cars in the stable, in case you have forgotten Kurt is a past champion in the cup series and his helmet is quite heavy.................... some of the older drivers might have problems lifting it :D;)

I didn't say they weren't.

Dont know how Harvick is doing it.

I want some knowledgeable person to explain that situation to me, it will have to be a pretty good explanation because if its something simple all the others would be doing it. No doubt the bully is a decent driver but he aint that damned good, he was so fast at phoenix last year it was downright pathetic to watch and I expect a repeat next week .................. I dont pay money for tickets to watch a crap display like that, I would like to see some semblance of a race, the other teams ought to be ashamed IMO

Actually he is that good. As a 2014 RF champion I am able to appreciate a similar accomplishment by him.
