Kurt Busch to Furniture Row racing.

Nope. He was just on Race Hub and announced he is going to be in the 78 next year. I wish him well.
 
Kurt Busch will drive the No. 78 Furniture Row Racing Chevrolet in 2013.
Busch, 34, signed a one-year contract with the Denver-based team on Monday. With the resources team owner Barney Visser has assembled, including the addition of veteran crew chief Todd Berrier in July, the 2004 Sprint Cup champion is confident the move to Furniture Row Racing will put his career back on the right track.

Maybe furniture row can donate a couch to Kurts therapist, because he wore the old one out.

But I wish him luck. Regan Smith can't catch a break.

Is this really the best offer Kurt could get? I can't imagine FR is doing much better financially than Phoenix Racing is. My how the mighty have fallen.
 
Perhaps the suits at Front Row will take the time to put a few clauses in Kurt's contract . Like not embarassing the company and not intentionally wrecking the race cars or he forfeit some paychecks .

One year at FR while Jeff Burton limps around one more at RCR then that seat opens up.
 
furniture Row gets their stuff from RCR, so Regan Smith had an impossible task. Smith is nice, but I don't think he has the talent to make it in cup.

I guess it came out like that. These days, you need to be a winner to get a decent ride, and that was a decent ride. If Kurt sticks with them for 2 years, they may make the chase as a WC.

Kurt has made the chase like six times since 2004 and won one cup in his career. FR and Phoenix will never win a cup.

That's the nice thing about Furniture Row and Denver Mattress, they ain't going anywhere. They've been their own sponsor since they formed their team. He doesn't have to worry about anything other than driving.
 
You guys aren't looking at the right part of this. They finally got Kurt out of Charlotte. With FR being based in Colorado the rest of the teams don't have to hear him at all during the week now just on weekends. LOL
