Kurt Busch to Furniture Row racing.

Who said Kurt is moving to Denver? I bet he doesn't.
One of the reports said that he was welcome to drop in any time to the RCR shop and participate in their team meetings if he wanted to . That sounds more like he will be based in Charlotte,

I just hope he and Vickers are permanent fixtures in the 'C' group of the Yahoo Fantasy Racing site next year. We need some better drivers down there.

Seriously, I hope he does well. I had really thought that he was going to be running out of the RCR garage after hearing RC's comments last week. Wherever he drives and who ever he drives for I still think it's only a matter of time before his next 'Busch outburst' of some sort. People don't really change. He's no exception.

Who remembers BAM Racing and Schwan's?? I say we bring that team and sponser back so they can be the preferred sponser for drivers in thier S"ch"wan song of thier carrer!!!! ;)

Yeah, I don't get that either. There's no reason for him to live where the cars are. That just doesn't make any sense.
I agree, with the schedules some of them have to keep, online team meetings are commonplace even with the drivers that live near their shops.

This is probably true. For the most part these drivers probably make the occasional appearance at the shop in person. There's bound to be exceptions to this but I highly doubt that drivers spend a majority of their time there.

i know i had heard that smith was living out there. If kurt gives a damn about the operation he will so he can be local to work on it. Online meetings are a half assed way to operate in racing. Get out what you put in.

Yeah, he did a "Made it Ma, top of the world" and went down in flames.

Kurt was on race hub and used some interesting wording to describe his efforts to get the word out about he and Furniture Row.

"I don't want to talk about too many details. I'm here to help get the TAILSPIN going".

lol Tailspin? WTF was he thinking? Did he have a premonition about Furniture Row's future in racing?

A Freudian slip or parapraxis maybe? o_O

If I made you look it up then I did my job. I had to. I've learned something today which at my age forces me to forget something else. Where are my keys anyhow?

You're experiencing a minor parapraxis, but don't be alarmed, keys aren't part of the Freudian theories.

YAY! I did it too!

So Busch bankrupted Phoenix Racing and now he's sending the Stormtroopers into Furniture Row...excellent

Lack of sponsorship will kill any team regardless of who drives. Furniture Row is a well funded team where the sponsor and owner are the same.

The guy wrecked , what, 3 cars before the Daytona 500 even started! No wonder he couldn't get a sponsor.

Phoenix Racing was for sale for 12 million dollars before Kurt signed to drive. Phoenix also uses a lot of devolopemental parts from Hendrick in order to save money. Phoenix has been struggling for years and Kurt is not the reason for his supposed exit. I say that because Finch has said he was done even before Brad got him a win at Talladega.

How much are they worth after Kurt gets done?

What in the hell are you doing? You have a lot of nerve posting something logical, reasonable and fact based on this forum. :D

And yet you keep coming back to this illogical, unreasonable and fiction based forum  Why?

This entire scenario reminds me of the Stewart-Haas merger a few years ago. I will not even venture to say that Kurt is anywhere close to being as smart as Tony, but this may just work out well for FRM.

Smith out of the #78 after Talladega? SPEED's Race Hub reported Wednesday evening that Regan Smith's final race of the season in the Furniture Row Racing #78 would be at Talladega. Kurt Busch is expected to drive the car the remainder of the season.(9-26-2012)
