Kurt's Meltdown

Don't think for a minute that nascar doesn't love this stuff. nascom has almost 6,000 replies to their Kurt article already, and that's very rare indeed.
 
It's no different than a baseball manager kicking dirt on an umpire because he disagrees with a call or one of his players slamming a bat against the dugout wall after a strikeout.

Not really, I have taken down all my Kurt stuff. If he even seemed to be trying to learn from his lessons I'd stand by him but he's not.

I'm with you lisa . Compared to some other drivers' colourful language , Kurts is really not as bad as people are making out . Compared to some other drivers' driving ability , Kurt still comes off pretty damn good . We've even seen other drivers do stupid things on pit road too. Yes , it's the combination , and yes there is a history,but is there a bit of overreaction?

I am the same way. Even if my driver is knocked out of the race, I still like watching. I enjoy several drivers.
 
I never was a fan of Kurt.... If he did a burnout through the pits well his problem.

Big fan of Tony Stewart Smoke 14 up there. I watched him race the Indianpolis 500 and have his autograph on that 500 image car he raced. I met him that day. I will post in the Chit Chat someday.

No worries, he won't have a ride next year anyway. No sponsor wants anything to do with him.
 
I don't think Kurt should be allowed in the All Star race. It isnt for points its a race where the series top drivers just compete for bragging rights, Kurts antics and using his car as weapon should disqualify him from being in an event to show respect to the series top drivers.

Um Carl Manson is racing and I believe he has ticked all those boxes

Quite a few of the Nascar drivers have done all the things that Kurt did . Reckless on pit road , had a tirade , swore at anyone who would listen, wrecked another driver , etc. just not all at once like Kurt . I doubt that there is a single driver out there who wouldn't want Kurt in the race , including Ryan.

Talent has nothing to do with it. What sponsor is going to pony up 20 million when the chances are they are going to end up on Youtube with a Video of Kurt swearing over the Radio as he runs someone down in the Pitbox?

Answer: Kurt drivers a white car for a reason.
 
Kurt Busch is to be in the media center @ 3:30 today if anyone is interested. It should be carried on nascar.com's website.

My brother - who lives in another province - has been a KuBu fan since he came into Nascar so I think I'll text him and ask him if he's still on the Busch wagon. I haven't talked to him in a while so he'll really appreciate that ;)

Deflecting KuBu's antics isn't going to change anything. He did this to himself. No one else is too blame and he's going to pay the price - most likely.

Carl Edwards has nothing to do with this latest meltdown.
 
Monster sponsoring KuBu in All-Star Race. Why? Exec: "Monster..supports Kurt Busch because of his passion for racing and his passion for winning"
 
One of Kurt's problems is that he cant carry that Marlboro Man bad to the bone personia. You just cant see ole Kurt saying "It is a hell of a thing killing a man, you take the only life he has, and the only one he is ever gonna have".

Dale knew how to be a alpha jerk with perfection to love or hate, and you only got a little embarassment from him after a Labonte Bristol deal. Most times he was acting like it was the most natural thing in the world, I loved it.


But Kurt goes over the top without knowing his limits. After last year he needs to know he has to be a boy scout, if it is a 50/50 issue he is getting the blame because he has a history. So now he would be better served to stop cussing period, and avoid post race controversies. regardless of how offended he maybe at the moment.
He wants to carry that bad attitude and finish it with a "deal with it" thought. But be it body language, comfort in his skin etc, whatever ole Barney Fife could have played the unforgiven type as well as Kurt.

That doesnt discredit his driving skills, he is a natural, but he is not gonna get away with playing villian, he just doesnt match the idea that folks will accept, it may be right or wrong but that's fates hand for KB.

I don't really care if he stays or goes, but it seems this is just another incident in a long line of inconsistencies Nascar has done. I guess just keep letting Kurt do these things until he runs someone over in the pits and kills them.

I agree that Kurt cannot continue his rages mainly because of how it effects his owner and crew. But if Nascar kicked everyone out for reckless driving and foul language , there wouldn't be anyone left in the garage . I don't like him one bit , but I will surely miss his talent on the track . And yes , I said the same thing about Dale Sr.
 
Anyone else listening to Kurt outside his hauler on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio? Lot's of good sound bytes will come from that little unorganized media session.
