Kyle Busch is 20 wins Away From Tying Richard Petty at 200.

All class sucker punch at arguably the frailist driver in Nascar. Another Samantha didnt stop the bowel movement in time moment.
He deserved the asphalt or cement he ate afterwards.
Call it hate, I call it fact.
Relevant because Petty was better for Nascar. He just didnt know how to be that stupid.

And Kyles mental mindset is why such raw talent can not match the accomplishments of Petty, Earnhardt, Pearson, Jeff Gordon, Darrell Waltrip, Bobby Allison, Cale Yarbrough, and Tony Stewart.
It is also why a crew cheif told him to park the car and take his whiny ass home (paraphrased from memory).

And his inferrior emotional IQ, is why raw talent is the best description for him. Rather than focusing on real accomplishments in the cup series. A what could have been is part of the gig.

Kyle's had a great Cup career so far while also racing Xfinity and Trucks. Name another actiive driver besides Jimmie that has had a better one. I give Jimmie, Petty, and Earnhardt their credit, Kyle Busch winning races takes nothing away from any of them.

I understand you entirely, but the perception of Kyle Busch has been molded for years. Love him or hate him entirely, he's grown somewhat. Yet he's still the same Shrub we've all come to know.

I like him the way he is, stay a heel man.

''Teenage girl comeback''?????

I could have a comeback to you also.... but....

You have a good night my friend..........

Whatever is a teenage girl comeback, now you know. I'd much rather you comeback with an actual argument but you reflected with the whatever line. I mean no disrespect but I see you as a bit hypocritical at times. Still one of my favorite posters though.

Oh yeah, stay heel all the way. Loved that he was playing to the crowd and the boos, although some of those are also woos.

Besides Jimmie? I appreciate the honesty.
Kyle is a great driver, just a long way from being one of the GOATs.

Also IDK why JJ's record in X has any bearing in any discussions as he is a cup driver.

That seems to be @kyle18fan that brings that up a bit. I could care less about Jimmie and his Xfinity record. His Cup stats speak for themselves and I've not compared Jimmie to Kyle at all. I think the 200 wins is comparable to Petty but the 7 championships is s whole other conversation that Jimmie has reached and might even surpass.

I haven't dogged Jimmie or Petty in this thread. They are legends and Kyle should get to their status eventually. No harm in comparing Kyle's wins to Petty's at all, as I mentioned the 7 championships is another conversation, one I really don't see Kyle reaching.

I mentioned that his Xfinity record sucks ......... and it does

Geez, y'all are giving me a headache and getting totally ridiculous.

It's all good racing conversation. I enjoy this site and the moderation you do but if I'm being honest I think you go a bit overboard with it, even though some of it has been to my beneficiary. No disrespect again, just my opinion.

Which it does, I can't despite that. His Cup record speaks for itself though and has won more than half the races of Kyle and 7 championships. Jimmie is already a legend, Kyle will be.

It's an irrelevant stat though. I doubt Jimmie worries himself too much that he had only one Xfinity win when he looks at his 7 Cup championship trophies, 2 Daytona 500 trophies, and 4 Brickyard 400 trophies.

So you relegate a whole series to irrelevancy ......... mmmmk
JJ wasn't wasting my tires and fuel for 92 races so I can handle it :lol2:

Well I am done with the thread.
Not mad or anything. I have just worded out and I am getting repetitious, probably was about a half dozen post ago. Too keep saying the same thing only tortures the point and usually escalates matters to a bad ending. Barring a completely new line of thought or data, I dont see the need.

So I am agreeing to disagree, and peace out.

Not saying the series is irrelevant, just saying nobody gives a sh!t about Jimmie's Xfinity record when assessing his level of success as a NASCAR driver. His accomplishments in Cup deem his Xfinity record irrelevant to the conversation.

Maybe we are just getting out collective legs pulled with the JJ's X record sucks as I can't make sense of it. It is like saying a triple crown winner sucks as a plow horse......who cares?

Some people believe that the influx of cup drivers in trucks and X caused fans to stop following both series. I am not blaming Kyle for starting this but he certainly has exacerbated it.

For the record I have no complaints about cuppers in the minors seeing I have not followed the minor leagues for years. I never will understand the logic of combining Kyle's wins or comparing him to Jimmie and I don't understand why everyone doesn't make a clear delineation between his victories across different series. Also IDK why JJ's record in X has any bearing in any discussions as he is a cup driver.

One thing I am not going to do is argue about it as it is folly and if Kyle's fans want to combine wins and do other unconventional things I am good.

Sometimes, arguing and provoking about it can be fun, when there isn't a race on ;)

But on a serious note I agree

Are you talking about three-time champion Kevin Harvick? (gotta throw the '01 and '06 Buschfinitywide titles in there too)
Don't forget the K&N championship and the IROC championship. Five championships and 113 races, leaving David Pearson in the dust! Definitely GOAT-ly type stats fo sho :mad::mad:

ya can't ignore his 9 Karting championships either. 7 national and two grand national. Hands down GOAT. there is no telling how many more than 200 wins Harvick has

We all know that they never all raced each other, or raced the same vehicles, or at the same time, with the same rules so trying to compare is purely speculation. A guess even.
It would be quite the show to have all the greats from each era all racing at the same time tho.

Maybe somebody just happened to point out that JJ's Xfinity record DOES suck ....... because it does :lol2: hell ..... his truck record sucks too if you think about it
I haven't forgotten any of his cup wins ....... just pointing out some minor facts about his record in other series. No doubt if Kyle raced 93 races in a certain series and only won once, somebody would have to point that out .... they might even make a "no bueno Kyle Busch " thread to rub it in
Kyle has a very impressive record in the top three series .......... I imagine many drivers would love to have those numbers

No leg pulling here at all .......none

And just to prevent any further friction I will not participate any further in this thread !!!! its been fun

Father Guido Sarducci addressed the potential of mentally jumping through hemispheres and timeframes.
It offers a lot of great scenario potential, but so many things could go wrong, too.

Pretty sure he was excommunicated for that.

How many championships does Kyle have so far, one does not make a legend. A good wheel man, but no legend, he has a long way to catch JJ , Petty, and Sr.

Maybe he could pad his stats with some Whelen series races!? :p Hey, they are NASCAR races too!

If he gets to the 200 will he retire altogether? He claimed he would retire* from Xfinity once he gets 100 wins there.

College football is the feeder to the big leagues.

Trucks and Xfinity in NASCAR is like AA and AAA baseball. You never see the likes of Jeter or whoever palin around the AAs smashing 20 HRs a week off of uand his fans gettin excited over it.
Obviously you're not a golfer.
