Milka Duno coming to NASCAR

I got a better idea for ya (not that I'm tellin you how to run the board) create a new sub forum for female NA$CAR drivers and move these threads there. But it's not a bad idea for a female drivers sub-forum because it looks like F1 will have 2 female drivers starting on 2015.

There is also some female racer history that predates WW2, I have thought about doing a thread on the topic.

Nope I do not have his grammatical skills or even spelling capabilites.
But here is one that is interesting.

Proof that there is nothing new under the sun.

Oh, dear. I don't think I can take another one of these threads. May have to move all Danica and Milka to the Podium just so I can keep my sanity. :D
There has already been a Botox reference and , no doubt , there are folks researching her sex life . Right now , it looks like this is destined for the podium .
Why wait ?

Include Denise McCluggage, she raced in the 50's and 60's. She was the founding editor of Autoweek (and their best writer IMO).

I first noticed Milka in sports car racing, the team didn't let her do full stints because she was too slow. I think Indycar let her race even below the minimum speed because she brought sponsorship (they finally applied the min speed rule and she left the series). I don't know if she has improved because I haven't followed ARCA.

Milka Duno has arlready proven she can't race a car. This is unbelievable.

She's damn near killed people already...

She makes JWT look like AJ Foyt...

Lmao, and at least Townley has won a race

She hasn't, not much anyway. I watch the televised ARCA races and she is usually a mid packer even in ARCA. Only 2 top tens in 21 starts.

heres a question...will nascar black flag her as well if she cant keep up

Duno raced 21 races in Arca 2013...finished on the lead lap in ONE. The other 20? multi laps down.
The article says she finished 7th in points and had the 3rd most laps led of anyone that season. How did the manage that if she only finished on the lead lap once?

Since some might wonder about the dust up between Patrick and Duno...

Seems like Duno came down on Patrick.

As for the actions afterwards, Duno was acting childishly. Patrick wanted answers to her actions and Duno throws a towel? wow. Stay classy Duno.

Thats how everyone else feels about Danica in NASCAR...

I think Patrick has earned a little more respect than that. IMHO it was rough at the start, but shes making headway with the Jeff Gordons, and Dale Jr's etc.

Trust me dude... She sucks. ARCA is were no-talent racecar drivers flourish and everytime she races she looks lost. I'm not kidding, she almost killed JWT.

Aww, Milka's so cute. :)

It's funny how differently Danica and Ryan Hunter-Reay approached her in each of those videos. Danica went all alpha female on her and was like "OMG, dude, you're so slow!" and she wasn't hearing it. Ryan, on the other hand, was just like "Milka, honey, it's okay if you want to go slow, but you just have to make sure you're watching your mirrors, okay sweetie?" and she was like "Okay, I'm sorry." LOL.

I look forward to seeing more entertaining confrontations in the future, hopefully involving the likes of Stewart and Harvick.

The only other female that was competition for Danica was Simona... Duno is a paydriver at best. Venezuelans have been buying out seats lately.

Maldonado
Viso
Gonzalez
Duno

It's sad, but Maldonado is the only one with some skill... Viso had his moments...

Congrats, but I feel a bit unsettled with this one.

Where is Joanna Long?

Looking for sponsorship....

Nascar is a 'big money ' sport . Doesn't matter a hoot how well you can drive if you can't attract big sponsor dollars . Folks can whine all they want about drivers who might do well in Nascar . Dreams don't come true without big bucks behind you . As a matter of fact , just look at the Hall of Fame drivers , very few were good looking or rich enough to get a ride in today's Nascar.

Met Milka in the pits after the Berlin round of ARCA last season. She really is pretty cool and gave this guy a bunch more attention than I deserved, but didn't impress on the track, but still did better than a bunch of male drivers. Put Milka in a top notch car and she would run about the same as Danica has this season. Top 30's just ahead of the low budget teams.

Dancia > Duno, imho. I hope we get the chance to see the two of take at it. As long as shes a safe driver.

Milka won't get the equipment that Danica has, so it will never be a fair comparison.

If shes good enough.,...in marketing or on the track, she will EARN a top ride
Patrick has worked at developing a relationship with her sponors for years.....

Maybe she's a hired gun to take out the cup drivers every week. She's Brian France's version of Jango Fett
