Milka Duno coming to NASCAR

Then get off a social forum while at work. Trust me. Racing-Forums will still be here when you get back.
The thing is that this forum isn't going anywhere anyway. It's been around forever and will be around forevermore. Most of the forums have died because the powers that be let a handful of posters run wild and ruin it for everybody else. This forum will endure because it's run as a family oriented place by the owner and admins. There are a couple of forums left that don't care how you act, what you say or what images you post but those for the most part are empty with very little if any posting. I like it here.

Im not arguing about the longevity of this forum. Its managed well. All I'm saying is fearing that someone may get reported for looking at bikini clad women online while at work can be eliminated if they arent goofing off on this site at while work. Its not a racing-forum member's fault if they posted a racey picture and another member got reported for viewing it at work. Its the fault of the person slacking off at work. Tail wagging the dog.

Again, I go back to this

This is a racing forum & not an americas next top model forum so thats where I'll agree.

You forget, some people, like me, are allowed to browse at work, but things have to have a level of decorum. I resent being told Im slacking for looking at a forum.

I wouldn't take that personally, DF. Not gonna speak for Chex, but I think he was just talking in general terms and not specifically calling you a slacker.

Edit: Beat me to it, Chex.

I keep reading the title as Mike Duno and keep thinking to myself..."Who is Mike Duno?"
Googling the name the first thing that comes up is a facebook page for a guy in Jersey, who looks like a tool in my opinion.

Andy, I appreciated your attempt to bring the conversation back to Milka's racing credentials, as ill fated as it may be.

Bottom line, if she is safe and can keep up and has the sponsor backing, bring it on. Just have her pull a "morgan" and fans will REALLY cry.

Lets hope she knows how to spin someone out without taking herself out too ;)

NASCAR CAN and SHOULD put a stop to this.
You know they won't, unless she fails to make the minimum speed a few times and/or screws up seriously enough to have her NASCAR license revoked. Everybody's (sponsorship) money is good in NASCAR.

I'm taking the same stance on this that I took with Morgan Shepherd. If an owner is willing to hire her, she passes whatever tests she has to pass to be cleared to race, and she's not a liability to anyone else out there, she has the right to be there. I'm a little concerned about that last part, but we will certainly see. I'm sure she'll be under the microscope from day one.

Are there better drivers, and female ones at that, that probably deserve an opportunity more than her? Yep. None of us here own teams and have the power to hire any of them or own companies large enough to sponsor them, though, so there's ultimately nothing we can do about it. I'm not saying it's right - it's just the unfortunate reality.

Then the tests should be harder and whether or not she is a liability is what is at question here.

NASCAR has a vetting process. I guess that got thrown out because she has boobs.

Yep, and I acknowledged that I also have concerns about that in the very next sentence after the one you quoted from my post. No arguments here.

LOL. C'mon, Andy. I know you're mad, and rightfully so, but you can do better than that.

What a flipping joke... I would take Danica being in a good cup ride for 20 years then ever seeing Duno in ANY race car.

She's definitely coming into it with a "checkered" history in racing and will face an uphill battle. As long as she's not a danger on the track, let her race. If she is, show her the door.

Why does Matthew hate Milka. She's not fat (neither are Johanna Long and Annabeth Barnes but that's beside the point).

Try not to worry yourself too much over other people's opinions. We're not expected to agree or even understand them and we usually ask the same of our own.

Oh, Matthew's opinion doesn't bother me. I just wish he'd walk up to those two and inform them that they're not attractive enough to be in NASCAR. :)

She is, that's the problem.

She causes wrecks in every series she's been in.

Milka Duno is as bad as Danica haters think Danica is. Milka makes Danica look like David Pearson by comparison.
