The problem with a thread like this is that we are all biased. We all see particular drivers as "over-whatever" and our fav drivers as "under-whatever" --- fill in the blank with '-hyped', '-rated', '-appreciated', or whatever word you choose.
We all get defensive if we think our driver is being slighted. I appreciate talent on the track. Not one driver, no matter how much money Daddy/sponsor put up, would be out there for very long if they didn't have some talent. Now, before anyone throws up John Wes Townley, I know he still races --- and Paul Menard is doing better --- I know Dad's money bought them the ride.
Bottom line --- this subject will NEVER, EVER be agreed upon. Keep a cool head and a light touch on the keyboard. No need to start a flame war just because we're bored with no race this weekend.
