Most over rated?

Whew. My bottom line.....Win championships, justify the hype, and render the current perceptions as underrated instead of overrated. Shock the world! Win 8 of 'em!

I considered walking down there to spray paint yer house, too far to walk in my KB pajamas and yellow pumps. Blowing a heel out in the desert is NOT an option :D

Danica is most overrated.
The fact the some people and most announcers pretend Danica is a competitive driver in the Cup series by putting a "good" spin on every mediocre thing she does vaults her to the top of the overrated list.

I decided a few years back when the talk was all about Elliott Sadler and how he was going to win all those Nationwide championships, then come back to Cup, that he was the most overrated driver I could think of. Still do.

Thinking that those yeller pumps might go well with my TRD sweater. You are welcome to borrow it whenever you need it.

The problem with a thread like this is that we are all biased. We all see particular drivers as "over-whatever" and our fav drivers as "under-whatever" --- fill in the blank with '-hyped', '-rated', '-appreciated', or whatever word you choose.

We all get defensive if we think our driver is being slighted. I appreciate talent on the track. Not one driver, no matter how much money Daddy/sponsor put up, would be out there for very long if they didn't have some talent. Now, before anyone throws up John Wes Townley, I know he still races --- and Paul Menard is doing better --- I know Dad's money bought them the ride.

Bottom line --- this subject will NEVER, EVER be agreed upon. Keep a cool head and a light touch on the keyboard. No need to start a flame war just because we're bored with no race this weekend.

The no race this weekend is likley what got at me to create this thread...:micro:

Don't to be overrated fans got to say how great you are? Well if that's the case Jr isn't overrated, a lot of his fans I see, including me who say he isn't the best.

Edit: Okay now I can pick one, I gotta think for a bit, I don't want to pick a driver I don't like just because I don't like them.

This subject is nothing more than just another excuse for bashing drivers. It happens every time someone posts one of the over or under rated threads. They are always full of stinky bait.

I think the whole over rated / under rated trend is over rated. I'll wait and post my opinions in the unrated thread.

Puke stains are impossible to get out. Now when I spilled my juice box, it came out, however.

LMAO -------------- I drink that cheap sangria that comes in a box with its own little faucet, Of course I am a bit more refined than you, I watch F-1

Love that little faucet. Spent years trying to figure out how to squeeze my head under it until I discovered that you could lift the box. Years of sober frustration remedied in a moment of creativity. I have never been the same. I used to watch F1 until Toyota pulled out. Our record wasn't so good there.

Toyota sucked at F-1, they were smart to abandon that effort

Agreed, and they agreed. At the time of the pull out, the rules package of the WEC was more in line with what the company wanted globally. I do believe that things could have been different in F1 if Toyota would have been allowed to race the V12 they had planned. The rule change to the V8s put them behind, and once you are behind in that series, you are freakin' done. This is what has me very worried about NASCAR this year. I don't like being behind. Not sure that last year was better--the false sense of domination waiting for the boom! Hoping we find the happy medium.

OT: The top Toyota car outqualified the top Audi for the pole at the WEC opener at Silverstone tomorrow morning.

Yes, and a big pole for them. They are putting everything into Lemans, and you don't show well in these first two, you are behind. Their qualifying is weird, but I think there is speed in the TS040. I will be watching--bright and early.
