NASCAR 2019 - Bold Prediction Thread

i said byron would win before jimmy,i was just messing with you all, i know they dont count.but it sounded good.

I’m just about done. My bold prediction was the the Big 3 from last year (KyBu, Truex, Harvick) wouldn’t win more than 8 races between them this year. Today was win #8 among those three. Guess I thought this package would create a little more parity than what it has.

Morgan Shepherd finishes a Cup race.
There will be at least one race winner born in the 1960s or earlier and
at least one race winner born in the 2000s.
(Cup, Xfinity or Trucks)
After Biffle's win at Texas, I only need a Cup finish for Morgan (Please make it happen, Rick Ware!) and a win for one of the KBM guys in the trucks.
I came pretty close to a winner born in 2000 or later yesterday...

Predictions at the half way point of the season . . . .

Can you talk Jay Robinson or Rick Ware into giving Morgan a one-off Cup start?:D:D

Sure, not a problem.

Now all you need to do is talk Shepherd into not parking the car until the checkered flag is waved. :D

There haven't been any S&P's in Cup for five years.
I recommend Phoenix or New Hampshire, the shortest races.
Andy Seuss and Austin Theriault will drive for RWR at New Hampshire, that's even more random than Morgan running a Cup race.:)
Any chance of a rain shortened race at Phoenix ?
Didn't Jr. get his final win in a rain-shortened race at Phoenix?

Here are my final predictions:

Prediction #1: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wins three races: Daytona 500, Coke Zero 400 (Daytona) & the Brickyard, becoming the fourth driver in history to win the Daytona 500 & the Brickyard the same season.
Prediction #2: Denny Hamlin has a bounce back season, winning five races & earning a trip to the final four.
Prediction #3: Kurt Busch looks like his old self, winning four races & the championship in surprising fashion.
Should've kept the Hamlin prediction.

A review of predictions at the three quarter mark (24 races) of the season.

Note, if someone made multiple predictions and one of them has been proven to be false, I'm no longer tracking any of the other predictions.

Donthaveanickname's winner from the 1960s happened but isn't green. Greg Biffle was born in 69. Now Rick Ware just needs to call Morgan Shepherd to replace Bayley Currey
