IMO this is NASCARs last chance before remaking the schedule in a major way. You just cannot keep running the same tracks a couple times a year. Either change configurations for the second race or send it to another track. We have enough in Mexico, Canada and here to find different places to run

One way NASCAR makes money is by charging the tracks for the privilege of hosting races. Any owner wanting to take a race away from ISC or SMI is going to have to outbid them. That's going to take deep pockets.

Not very long.
To me, JMHO, the apex into that first turn is way to narrow and sharp. But, it will be the same for everybody. We will be sitting just past that toward turn one under the roof.

They will have just come out of the front stretch chicane, so I am thinking they will be a little slower than that at the braking zone to heart burn turn. From what I saw earlier when they were practicing a while back, they have a really large deep section of tires at that wall.

I am so ready to get this one going.

The Exfinity Race is also on the Roval, that will be interesting to see. My guess as many cup guys will run that as possible to get track time.

^^ that's pre Heartburn all by himself, wait until there are 38 on the track. Going to be a wild one. I think the S before Heartburn won't have any Astro Turn left after the race. Hope they are set up for dirt trackin.

Race delayed due to big Gorilla running around the track and scaring all the drivers.

I just scored a hot pass! Woo Hoo!!! This will be my first time in the pit area since 1990!
I'm not sure where we are going to sit in the stands yet.

I don't know if they're renovating the roval or using the outside road course, but LVMS is likely bringing back sports car racing next October. With two NASCAR dates now that could be something to keep an eye on.

I hope the Charlotte race goes cleanly. I think it'll be really challenging, which is good, but I don't want to see a mess.

I love road courses too, but this is not a road course. This a high class go-kart track.
