Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the UAE and others reviewed global market conditions and decided to raise collective output by 411,000 barrels per day starting in May.

They say that the average 401K in the U.S. has lost $8,000 dollars so far. It is farther down today, that was yesterday's estimate. I'm not worried about the large investors, but the people are getting hosed.
The Request for Proposals went up in early 2024 and was awarded to Strategic Sourcing Partners LLC.. Boomerang incoming and throw in a circle back also.

In the last nine months we sold two pieces of property. We had parked that and an inherited windfall in a money market fund averaging 4%.
Two weeks ago I had my quarterly chat with my broker. I asked if we were too cash-heavy and should we do something else with that money. He didn't like what he'd been hearing and suggested keeping it where it is for another quarter. We agreed and we'd look at in June.
Friday I received an email detailing the brokerage's trades in response to the tariffs and reactions. In addition to the content for all clients was a reply to me suggesting we leave the money in the market funds alone until at least September. Damn straight.

Think gassed my truck once in March. Need to fill up @ some point next week. Should be down in the $2.75 area by then. Although only using maybe 20 gallons month isn't a big strain on the walnuts.
