NFL 2013

The Browns are on national TV tonight on Thursday Night Football against the equally surprising Buffalo Bills. The Browns team management tried to tank the season by trading away their best offensive skill player in Trent Richardson, but WR Josh Gordon came back from suspension and they turned it around in a hurry. I'm still not sold on QB Brian Hoyer, but he is more mobile and makes quicker decisions than Brandon Weeden does and this offensive line is horrible in pass protection right now.

Today's Wednesday, not Thursday ;)

Yeah, yeah. I was somehow under the delusion that the Indians and Browns were both playing later that night. Somehow I had it being Wednesday and Thursday simultaneously. I'm not sure how that happened. I realized it was just Wednesday around 5pm or so.

So Romo is talking trash about Denver? Does he really need to give Peyton Manning more reason to destroy his defense?

TIM TEBOW IS NOT GOING TO JACKSONVILLE. NOT NOW, NOT EVER. I wish the media would quit reporting on baseless rumors.

Get back to me in 4 weeks and we will have this discussion again. They are an improving 4-0 team, Brady is Brady, wouldn't you like to have him on your team as a QB? Come on dude, you are reaching at best here, we all know who it is going to come down to in the AFC, The Broncos and the Pats. They are the 2 best teams, when Manning comes into Foxboro in Nov., Bill will scheme and once again get in Peytons' head, Denver will lose. You can site all the stats you want, I site this one when Brady took them to the first and second Superbowl wins was he a top 5 QB in stats? No I don't think so, but he was one thing........A WINNER and a LEADER!!! As long as Brady is behind center I'll take my chances with the Patriots any day.

Was he top 5? No, he was 6th. Both years. Brady was still one of the best QB's in the league when he took them to their first and second Super Bowls. Everyone knows the Pats are on the decline. Hell, if the Pats were so great this year, why are they the underdogs against a 2-2 Bengals team this week? Everyone sees it except for the delusional Pats fans that don't want to accept it. The only one reaching is you. You're letting your homerism blind you from facts. Like I said, they've played a bunch of scrubs so far, and have struggled against them at times. And you think they are going to beat the Broncos? Lmao. That's funny. It's not coming down to the Broncos and Pats this year. The Pats are on the decline, and that is fact. They had a good run. I'm not saying they won't be competitive still, but the days of them running over the league are done.

GAME DAY! LET'S GO BROWNS! I can't believe I'm actually pumped for a Browns game. I'm actually thinking this offense is going to explode tonight. Hoyer with 3 TD's, 2 to Cameron, 1 to Gordon. I think McGahee will find his way in the end zone too. The defense will do what it's done the last 2 weeks and dominate. If Cleveland can quit giving up conversions on 3rd and long, I don't think this game will be close. With Spiller and Jackson both beat up for the Bills, they are going to have to rely on passing game, and that doesn't bode well for the Bills, especially if Skrine has the kind of game he had Sunday against the Bengals.

Buffalo and Cleveland are both playing at a level we haven't seen in awhile from either team. Winner comes out of this one at 3-2, something I wouldn't have expected when I first saw this game on the schedule.

And Cleveland will have sole possession of first place in the AFC North.

My Titans aren't getting much love nationally despite a 3-1 start (I think I'm the only one who took them over KC in Pick 'Em this week), but they can move into sole possesion of 1st in the AFC South if they beat KC and Indy loses to the Seahawks, both of which could happen. I'm not really sold on KC, yeah they're 4-0, but they really haven't beaten anybody good.

These are the two teams that have the longest current playoff droughts in the NFL. The Bills haven't been since '99, the Browns haven't been since '02. (the Raiders also haven't been since '02, but they got further in the playoffs that year).

Titans also don't have their starting QB for the next month or so. That's gonna hurt big time.

Could be worse, the Jags could be playing?

Come at me bro!.jpg

Yeah, it sucks that Locker got hurt just when he was getting good. Fitzpatrick isn't a huge step down though, I think he'll do well in Locker's absence.

You mean to tell me that after five games Cleveland has a 51+% chance of making the playoffs?

1st place in the AFC North baby! Cleveland is now on a...wait for it...winning streak!
