Back in the 90's we called it the "Bandwagon Quartet": The Dallas Cowboys, The Atlanta Braves, The Chicago Bulls, and Dale Earnhardt. I don't know how many people I encountered who were "lifelong fans" of all four.

I hear ya there. And they're usually the ones who scream bandwagon. I've had "lifelong" Baltimore Ravens fans call me a bandwagon Jaguars fan before - because I also like the Redskins. Seriously?
Yes, I like both teams. Lifelong Jags fan but I like the Redskins because it was the only team I could follow for seven years.

The first game of the regular season is September 5th I believe. Ravens at Denver should be a good one.

I'm going to the Redskins-Titans preseason game tonight. It's a football game I know, but I'm going to bring my catcher's mit with me just in case RGIII's knee blows out through his leg and goes up into the stands.

The Browns looked pretty good in their first game Thursday night. The first team offense scored a field goal and a touchdown in their only possesions and they won 27-19.

One of the Steelers' backup QBs and a backup RB ran into each other on a handoff attempt Saturday night, fumbled, and gave up a safety. Pretty sad.

When people said the Cleveland Browns need more speed at wide receiver I don't think they had in mind our top two wide receivers, Greg Little and Josh Gordon, both getting speeding tickets for going way the hell over the limit (one of them was clocked at over 100 mph).

Hey Andy I moved to Middleburg last month which is just outside of Jacksonville. The locals down here are die hard fans...they're like the browns fans of the south. Anyway I love this team, they're so awful that ticket prices are dirt cheap. I might actually get to see the panthers or steelers play in person for the first time since I could actually afford to go to the game.
