NFL 2014

Darren Sproles has been released by The Saints.
The Saints also released Lance Moore. They could easily afford to lose someone from that offense. They had more weapons than anybody knew what to do with. Losing both of them, however, may hurt a little. They still have a lot left on offense, but they simply overwhelmed people, particularly at home, before. That won't be the case next season unless they pick up the right kind of help in free agency and or the draft.

Sounds like Whitner and Moats to Cleveland are done deals. Karlos Dansby appears to be close. The Revis Sweepstakes appears to be between Raiders and Browns as well. Great friggin first day if we sign those names.

We shall see. I would love to see Revis in Cleveland, but not if it costs the $16 mil/year he is currently being paid. That's just too much cap space on a team with this many needs. I do like Whitner though. I think he is an upgrade over T.J. Ward. Dansby should be good too.

If Jacksonville doesn't have a player signed at 4:01pm EST, I will flip shit.

If Maurice Jones-Drew has signed with another team by 4:02pm EST, I will rage. I'm talking scorched Earth rage.

I'm reading a trade for Revis will depend on a contract restructure. Agreed Whitner is an upgrade. Ward just gives up too many big plays.

Arthur Moats' name is being thrown around as a big possibility for Cleveland too. Moats and Dansby would be very nice.

Byrd is still a possibilty too. His name is still being linked to Cleveland pretty hardcore. I'm gonna miss Mack though, but hey, if being the highest paid center in the league isn't good enough, then see ya.

It's been an exciting day in Cleveland for once. Instead of all the big names running, Cleveland seems to be a favorite for all the top free agents. I've never seen the Browns mentioned so much on Twitter. Lol

The Titans sign former Chiefs return specialist Dexter McCluster. I don't think any team was worse at handling kickoffs and punt returns than the Titans last year, so this should help.

Colin Kaepernick's salary: $1.1 million.
Blaine Gabbert's salary: $2.01 million.

Another comedic note: Jacksonville got the same thing for Gabbert that the Ravens got for Boldin from the same team. :XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL:

Cowboys release DeMarcus Ware and Miles Austin. Must have to clear out room for Romo's ridiculous salary.

Homo restructured and they still had to cut those 2 to get under the cap.
I don't know when these teams will learn that sacrificing the rest of the team to appease the QB never works. Just look at Baltimore last year. Flacco got overpaid, they had to cut some key players to compensate, and the Ravens went from Super Bowl Champs to 8-8 and out of the playoffs.

You might actually see a drop in attendance for Cowgirl games this year.Alot of PO'd people about the loss of Ware.

The Miami Dolphins announced Tuesday night that they have traded Jonathan Martin – the player at the center of a bullying scandal that drew national attention – to the San Francisco 49ers for an undisclosed draft choice.

I've heard the same thing about Moats as well. Byrd reportedly signed with the Saints yesterday, though.

I don't think Mack is going anywhere. The Browns have the right to match any offer sheet he signs within 5 days of him signing it. It sure seems like they will unless it is just ridiculous. Personally, I think anything over $10 million for a center is ridiculous, and certainly is for Mack. He's good, but if he was as good as some say he is, our running game would create holes on, at least, a somewhat consistent basis and our QB's would have more than 2 seconds to get rid of the ball. Then again, our guards just suck and our right tackle isn't much better, so it's possible that he and Thomas are both that good, but can't do it alone.

If another team offers Mack more, he's gone. Cleveland pretty much already said they aren't paying him anymore. He's already the highest paid center in the league. You can go out and get a good center for half the money they are paying Mack.

Heard E. Sanders and J. Edelman are Clevelands targets today, possibly Decker. They are also the front runners for Ben Tate reportedly. Bengals matched Browns offer for Hawkins, so he's out.
