I don't know how I feel about the Bucs and Dolphins having to play 16 straight games. Seems something could have been worked out better to me. Sucks for all of the players.
The only other thing would be to move the game. I'd guess that the lost revenue of the home city was not desirable. Didn't they already lose a game by it being played across the pond?I don't know how I feel about the Bucs and Dolphins having to play 16 straight games. I think losing some money could be better than your players having to play 16 games and not getting rest, surely since I think the bye week they lose(and that the bucs lose) is right aftet the Dolphins come back from London. The only other things would be to move the game. I hear what you are saying but this is the NFL..... Money talks.I think losing some money could be better than your players having to play 16 games and not getting rest, surely since I think the bye week they lose(and that the bucs lose) is right aftet the Dolphins come back from London.
I don't know, the players didn't seem to like this idea, that bye week is important to them so they don't get hurt.
Was moving the game up a few days not a choice? I mean getting it in say Thursday(have it start after the Patriots game starts so they get kickoff) or early Friday sometime? I don't know. I just hope the players are able to handle it. Lucky for them its not like it's teams that have playoff hopes so they probably won't have to worry about more playing after those 16 haha.I hear what you are saying but this is the NFL..... The game could easily be moved. They chose not to do it. I think that speaks volumes. That was the only option to avoid what is going to take place.
This also happened to the Dolphins in 1992 when Andrew hit. They had to move their season opener against the Patriots (can't remember why they couldn't just swap dates) to Week 7, when they both had a bye. They also had to move their 2004 season opener against the Titans to Saturday because of an impending hurricane.I don't know how I feel about the Bucs and Dolphins having to play 16 straight games. The NFL should probably just schedule them on the road the first two weeks every year.Poor Dolphins
Very true. The NFL should probably just schedule them on the road the first two weeks every year.
This is the NFL losing money is the worst thing they can imagine.I think losing some money could be better than your players having to play 16 games and not getting rest, surely since I think the bye week they lose(and that the bucs lose) is right aftet the Dolphins come back from London.

I feel dirty for it also.It just feels dirty to cheer for the Patriots.
What a beat down. Did Tom Brady and Alex Smith trade uniforms?Pats' D getting ripped a new ******* tonight. Holy cow.
That moment when you realized you had Hunt on your bench:
They got me -3 points in my Fantasy League.Pats' D getting ripped a new ******* tonight. Holy cow.
Now that's funny right there!
#16andNoNow that's funny right there!

Brady's my QB..I only got 14.30 points tonight in the league I'm in. I got Gronk and Gostkowski from the Patriots, shocked that Gronk didn't pick me up more than he did tbh.
This was my first time doing one of these drafts and xD well I got the worst draft grade of my whole league lol.
A lot of the same experts are predicting the Jets to go 0-16 this year too. It'd be funny if they beat Buffalo on Sunday, which would actually make them 1st place in the division.so much for the 19-0 that the "experts" were saying the Pats had a real shot at doing.

In the 37 seasons that have had a 16 game schedule, there has been only one 16-0 team and one 0-16 team. But it seems like these talking heads predict it every year. These experts are idiots..this is the NFL, no one is going to have a perfect season either way.
My thoughts exactly. There is no situation where I can feel good cheering the Chiefs.Good: Love the Pats losing.
Bad: Chiefs are in the AFC West with the Raiders.
What makes those two season funny is that in the Lions 0-16 season, they went 4-0 in preseason and the PatsIn the 37 seasons that have had a 16 game schedule, there has been only one 16-0 team and one 0-16 team. But it seems like these talking heads predict it every year.
