Even when people "get away with it" DUI is just attempted murder without a specific target imo. I hate it that his stupidity has cost the life, or lives, of others this way.

I swear my team is cursed...

This is not a bit surprising. I have been talking about the enormously high speeds out here for a long time down in the podium. I am surprised he was going that fast being drunk though, because usually when a person gets that drunk they slow down to a crawl and that is what draws attention to them and they end up getting arrested.

Holy **** dude:

Almost 160 on a street in what's apparently a residential area with a 40 mph limit. Insane.

Ruggs is surely going away for a decent amount of time. Probably not enough for what he's done, but at least Nevada has mandatory prison time for DUI resulting in death. Some places he could manage to walk without jail time.

Remember this time last week when the Cardinals were undefeated, Derrick Henry was headed to another 2,000 yard season, Von Miller was a Denver Bronco, Henry Ruggs III wasn’t a murderer, nobody knew who Mike White was, and we could look forward to this week’s Rodgers-Mahomes showdown?

Good times.

It is just to easy be bitter and rage on with indignation.

But the victim Tina Tintor died a horrible and painful death.
Her car was knocked about 570 feet from impact, but she was still conscious trapped and aware as she and her dog burned to death.

Meawhile Ruggs was still selfish enough to refuse a sobriety test at the scene in spite of his victims suffering. That's shameless enough to me.
I wish they would give him a couple of hours to make his peace with God and then fry the MFers ass.

I try not to crusade but I have to many high school friends that died from accidents while being drunk.
It is has been more than 40 years ago but I still remember the shock and sadness from learning about their deaths.

I also have seen the cost of being an alcoholic for a family member and some of my best friends.
It affected me and I decided when I was young to stay away from the stuff. Maybe I am a prude an out of line for drawing such a hard line.
But I don't believe I missed anything by abstaining and I have never needed a substance to be a little goofy or to have a good time.

I don't think a 17-game schedule is necessary, but one game a year outside of the US (or a neutral site game) is kind of a cool way to justify it.
It’s just so dang stupid and greedy to me do be doing 17 games, risking your best players another game. Kinda throwing out a lot of records.

Who knew that driving 150+ mph on a city street while intoxicated could be dangerous? 🤔

I wish it had been him instead of that poor girl. He showed no regard for the safety of anyone, himself included. Tina did absolutely nothing to deserve that awful fate. And she was almost home, just a couple blocks away, after visiting a friends house. It's terrible...

So many times the intoxicated people make it while destroying the lives of others. I've said it before and I'll say it again, DUI is just attempted murder of an unknown person; it's really no different than firing a gun into a crowd and wondering if your bullet will miss all the people.

I hear yah. It pisses me off too. I listen to mostly sports talk radio. I can't believe the number of hosts already talking about this ahole's possibilities of getting back into the NFL. If anything, he deserves the same fate as his victim. Screw him.

I sure miss the days of the Chad Pennington Jets.

I just do not understand the logic of ruining what’s not broken with the NFL regular season with the 17 game schedule.

Are they gonna start doing a draft lottery to stop tanking?

OBJ officially out in Cleveland. Thank God. What a worthless, gutless POS.

This whole thing was planned by OBJ, his daddy, and LeBron. That stupid video cherry picking all the times OBJ was "open" (without any context) was his way to get kicked out of town. I really hope he gets claimed by Detroit and hates his life so much that he retires.

The guy freelances his routes, drops easy balls in clutch situations, then pouts when he's not involved. He's a soft, selfish pusscake who doesn't care about winning. F*** him, good riddance.
