NFL 2022-23

Yeah, but you gotta think about your mental health. As an avid sports fan, watching your team suck year after year can honestly start to affect you.
Trust me. I know. It really sucks because I already am pretty bad off with my mental health. But on the flip side, finally watching them win helps a lot. I don’t remember much of 95 when the Braves won. I was pretty young. But seeing them win it all last season made sticking with them worth it. I wasn’t even alive when the Dawgs had last won the National Championship before this last season. It made up a little bit for all the heart break and horrible seasons. So it’s a two sided coin. The pain of losing every year, the seeing your team fail time and time again, stings. I once believed I would never be able to celebrate one of my teams winning a championship. I got two within 69 days of each other. Those moments were some of the happiest I been in quite sometime

It'd be embarrassing, that's for sure. I feel that way about the Detroit/Jaguars game later this year. I think that's the game that will signify Detroit as the worst NFL team this season.

Honestly Houston looks horrible. Las Vegas & Detroit are just not good. Davis Mills tries to look competent, Lovie Smith is a good guy, but Houston constantly looks overmatched.

I know what you mean. Being down as much as I am, simply seeing my team or driver win brings me much more joy than it should. I'd love to say that I have high hopes of them winning the Superbowl one day. Unfortunately I don't, but I'd be thrilled to see them actually make it past the first round of the playoffs. I think the offense they have could do it, assuming they had a defense to back them up.

Anything can happen. Teams get hot at the right time, and pull off miracles. If someone last year in about June or even July the Braves would win the World Series, I would’ve asked what drugs they were on. They got hot and went on a great run. So good luck to ya.

As a Raiders fan, I feel like I need a backup team, but it’s impossible to find besides maybe Seattle lol.

As another Raiders fan, Geno is like the little engine that could right now. The team leader that was written off by everyone. The way the pep talked his WR today showed true leadership and sportsmanship. It's impossible to root against them at the moment.

That Saints game was terrible.

In the "good old days" we'd at least have gotten 3 points from a 65 yarder by Seabass to avoid the shutout. I'm wondering if McDaniels just isn't cut out for a HC role.

McDaniels is incompetent. He’s a good offensive coordinator but he has no business as a coach or leader. This team has some talent on offense, it’s a joke the Raiders can’t even go 9-8.

The Raiders suck because of the lack of leadership at the top, specifically, Mark. He’s a goofball compared to Dad. Wake up Mark Davis and stop cashing those checks.

Josh Allen kinda puts Tim Tebow to shame with how much he can truck over people and take over the game in the playoffs. I think Buffalo has another gear.

Packers are gonna be 3.5 games back of the Vikings at the end of October. That’s awesome.

I doubt anyone thought the NFC East and AFC East would all be .500 or better at this point.

Who needs Halloween outfit when you can just be a Raiders fan this season. 🤡

I mean, every day is Halloween for a Raiders fan... :XXROFL:

We have Gorillas, Darth Vaders and skeletons in the stands every game

Lane Kiffin and Josh McDaniels = visor wearers
Rich Bisaccia = baseball cap

Headwear is the criteria they need to use when choosing a coach.

Browns/Bengals is a good rivalry. Surprised how many Browns fans go to games in Canton.

Apparently Detroit traded their #1 tight end to Minnesota for draft picks. It's frustrating, but good for him. Just like Stafford, I'm all for giving the offensive players a chance on a winning team. It's not like it'll hurt Detroit anymore than they already are.

Chicago is dumb. They didn't get enough in return for Roquan Smith, and they just traded what will likely be a top-40 overall pick for Chase Claypool. That's a huge overpay, IMO.

I don't understand the Lions dealing Hockensen, either. They are essentially receiving the equivalent of a late 2nd rounder for a very productive 25-year-old TE who was the 8th overall pick a few years back.

It's nice that the Jags have a #1 WR for next season. Hopefully they'll get a quarterback who's worth a **** because Trevor ain't it and the whole league sees it.
