NNS California

He has a whopping total of eight career Cup starts. As if that is even remotely comparable to Harvick, Kenseth, Logano, Busch, Jr...
Oh sorry , I didn't realize that Kyle was breaking the rules.
Oh wait....He's NOT! Get over it.

A guy that can go from the back to the front while everyone else is just marking laps.
A guy that can consistently put a 10th place car in the winners circle.
A guy that can recover a loose car and keep on racing when anyone else would be in the wall.

Like Curtis Turner said, "Checker or wrecker". He had no interest in some sissy championship for showing up on more Sundays than anyone else.
Kyle reminds me of Curtis.
Please...really? When he wins 5 championships in row get back to us.

That was an awesome finish.

IMO it wouldn't have been nearly as impressive as it was had Larson beat two NW regulars. The fact the he beat two of the best Cup drivers made it much more of an accomplishment.

I'm glad they were in the race for Larson to beat.
This is why you wont see Cuppers leaving NW.

I hope Cup drivers do not stop driving in the Nationwide Series. If they do then you will no longer see finishes like we saw today.
yep i agree best 20 laps of an end of a race I've seen in a while.

Yep even after tagging the wall Elliot still didn't give up, going to be cool to see Larson and Elliot battle it out in the future in Cup.

wrong. NFL players go from team to team seeking higher pay checks all the time.

If Larson & Elliot end up in the Hendrick stable, you'll see another Gordon/Johnson-esque duo

Sorry don't see it, Chip's been wanting a winning NA$CAR oval winner too long. Plus for extra encentive Chip can dangle a part time IndyCar ride. If you anything about Sprint car racing is if you wanted to end up in IndyCar that was the thing you used to do, race Sprint cars and dirt track racing. Which so happens to be Larson's background.

You know who discovered Larson? Robin Miller did. He saw him at a couple dirt track races and then took Tony Stewart to watch him race and Tony started floating Larson's name around. So it's perfect that Chip picked him up because the IndyCar connection.

I still don't see the fuss.. jeez the kid wins one nationwide race and he's the greatest of all time? He's good but come on... he needs to prove more than that guys. Im not saying I don't he will prove himself.. but he hasn't yet IMO but that was damn sure a step in the right direction.

No one saying he is the greatest, at least not me, just an impressive kid, who seems to have a lot of talent and doesn't get rattled easily.

Nowadays if you get a Cup ride, you've reached the elite. Nobody leaves a NASCAR Cup ride to drive open wheel. Unless you can't make it in Cup.

Yeah sorry. Anybody with a brain would accept an offer from HMS, no matter what team they are currently on. Larson will be bought from Chip sooner than later.

Kyle just outraced Logano, Busch & Harvick in sub par equipment. Nobody is saying he is the greatest of all time, but he is the greatest thing since sliced bread ;)

Nah, that's not true. That was true of Tony Stewart and his generation, not Kyle Larson who's 20 years younger. Stewart grew up when IndyCar still meant something. Larson was born in 1992. Indycar has been broken and pathetic and irrelevant his entire life.

I've seen the home movies of Larson as a little kid. He grew up wanting to be a Nascar driver.

Sub Par....I think not. Equal

Sprint car guys used to grow up dreaming of IndyCar. Used to. Hasn't been that way for several decades now.

Was it impressive Larson getting the win today, you bet, but I will be more impressed if he can do that in Cup, I still feel that is was brought up way to early to Cup

I am happy that a driver not named Kyle and Busch did not win the race
