That is really cool. Should be the experience of a lifetime for the people that get selected.

I listdefinitelyto them for years when I drove my big truck over the road, I'll take Mike, DW/Larry Mac, Jeff, Dale Jarrett, Rusty, you name it, over that screaming Moody and Bagley cluster. Don't have any problem listening to Barney and the pit guys, but it is good not to have to take a couple aspirin for my headache after the race.
Yeah, I am probably a bit biased anyway. Listened to them for years when I was bouncing around all over the country. Pissed because I wasn't in my recliner watching the race at home. I apologize if I ruffled anybodies feathers. I even had a Sirus player that would record, so when I was spotting the trailer or inside getting my paperwork signed I could play it back. Definitely better than nothing. They weren't the screaming idiot.
Will be interested to see how well Danica does starting in the back. Bigger test then single file Daytona.
Don't know what part of the country you live in, but I am guessing the east, you have probably had that station for years to listen to. Here in the middle of the country, I never heard it until recently when I bought a Sirus unit. nothing on the radio but stick and ball sports.
Well, she wont make a hard charge to the rear because she is already there. Plate races are mechanics races. The real racing starts this week. Danica will be lucky to break the top 20 imo with top 10 equipment.
I am surprised that Kasey and Jeff were able to stay in the top 5 considering their early draw.
Gods of us all, why have I never thought of that for myself? You are my new hero, at least for this weekend. This is why I mute the volume on the TV and then delay the DVR so the radio audio lines up with the video. I love listening to Moody et al call a race.
My only issue is their interpretations of the length of a car. Sometimes when they describe cars as being only one or two car-lengths apart, I wonder if they mean haulers instead.I enjoyed listening to Hall, Ned, and Dick Brooks when he was on the air with them. I am convinced that some of my speech patterns were influenced by them. After a countless number of Sundays Barneys voice sounds like family. The gold standard imo.
Okay, I know Sick Dog. Which one is Freaky Dog, asks the guy from Lexington?I am fortunate to live in the upstate tricounty area of S.Carolina ( Sick Dog County, Freaky Dog County, and Greenville County).
That should make it interesting when they get to Darlington. I guess they run around sideways on the wall itself. This new car sure isn't acting like everyone expected. It looked like the rear was planted and the front tires couldn't handle it. The car doesn't like the bottom of the track, that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone set up for running higher, and that would be very strange to see at Phoenix.
Welcome to the forum man . I'm hoping that your another Bill Elliott fan and not an Elliott Sadler fan . I need some help around here with all of the Senior fans . I have to agree with you , a top twenty finish is hopefully in the cards for Danica this week . I think that would be fantastic for any rookie driver .Those 20th to 43rd place drivers are pretty damn good drivers with a ton more short track experience than she has.Well, she wont make a hard charge to the rear because she is already there. Plate races are mechanics races. The real racing starts this week. Danica will be lucky to break the top 20 imo with top 10 equipment.
Not impossible, that's for sure. She started the Cup race last fall in 37th and finished 17th, the first car one lap down.a top twenty finish is hopefully in the cards for Danica this week . I think that would be fantastic for any rookie driver .
That's why I never commented on it yet...I can't believe how many people say it's going to be a good car with out really knowing the car that well. This new car sure isn't acting like everyone expected. It looked like the rear was planted and the front tires couldn't handle it. The car doesn't like the bottom of the track, that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone set up for running higher, and that would be very strange to see at Phoenix.
Does nascar.com post qualifying results anymore? Can't seem to find them

Danica Danica Danica. I have never seen anybody saw on the wheel so much. Whenever she gets nervous it gets worse. My prediction is mid to backish of the pack. 18-25th, lap or two down.
good point. Most of the experts thought the new car would be breaking records right off the bat. whatever they did to Kenseth's car, they killed it. Logano said "didn't work", or something like that when he was in the middle of qualifying. They are scratching their heads I bet. Won't take them long to get it dialed in I bet.

Next race is APRIL 6thThere's not one this week.
