Drivers seat and dash plus a fuel cell in a current cup car. The fit and finish on these cars is unbelievable up close.

Great Pics sdj.
Nice pics. You're absolutely right about the build quality of the cars ... one of my favorite things.
It looks like you had a great time and that's what it's all about. You took some great pictures thanks for posting them.
Thank you! Great, great pics!

I've taken several hundred pictures of every step in the garage, inspection stations, pits, race shops and have never even got a sideways glance. Apparently they could care less. How happy was the crew with that engine bay shot?

Probably. Everybody loves me.That's interesting. I was at Michigan a couple of years ago, and the inspectors were doing some last second checks of something in the engine bay, and crews/security were going nuts over some fans trying to take pics. Also talked to a photog from LAT, and she told me that they get really antsy anytime she wants a bay shot. Must be your charm.
Probably. Everybody loves me.
I know I do! I enjoy your posts man. Sincerely.
Yep. I didn't want to complicate things. If it was so sensitive, why are the cars parked nose out?
How happy was the crew with that engine bay shot? Not very, I'm guessing....
Yep. Same experience I've had for many many years. Maybe some people just hang around and pester the crews too much. You guessed wrong, I asked them first and they said OK, nice bunch of guys.
nope lolz
Kentucky! Pics are so-so quality. I'm in need of a new phone...
LOL....... I am the same.... don't take pictures..... buy collectables or get autographs..... just go for the moment.........Looks like you were setting pretty close to where I was, didnt see myself in any of the photos though. Im not the picture taking type so I dont have any to post.
There was a 88 Dale Junior trailer, and not a single customer was present. I was very surprised to see that. It was just one observation at one moment, but it was prime shopping time and it surprised me.
The at the track Monster experience is certainly different and much better in our opinion than previous sponsors. A lot more upbeat and unique than the others were.Pretty cool, Monster is putting in a lot of time and money with their pre-race shows and promotions. Much more than Sprint did. Monster girls aren't bad either
Great pictures....... thanks. I have been a Mark Martin fan since the 80's...... also grew up not too far from Batesville. I don't live there now but still have fond memories of the area. Great to see Larry Shaw was there. He and Julian (Mark's dad) put in a lot of work, money and hours into Mark's early years.Newbie here... headed to our very first practice at the Brickyard... it'll be our very first time seeing the cars on track... but that doesn't mean we don't know how to have fun... We went to Mark Martin's Fan Appreciation Days this spring... Tony Stewart and Bill Elliott were his "guests" along with his longtime friend and partner Larry Shaw... if you have not ever been, I welcome you to my state (Arkansas) to visit it! The school was eventually signed by all and copies were made to turn in to the school - and yes, it was excused.
