I sure am glad we can all entertain ourselves during the off week.

David Reutimann has the #10 one point out of the top 35 for that all important starting position with four races to go before Darlington. If he doesn't get it there, do you think Danica will or won't qualify on speed?
 
I think she will. She'll have a good enough car to overcome her lack of experience.

I wonder if this will become a Danica bash thread...

As far as the 'bash thread'..... I'm sure someone will start a few of those just before we hit Darlington.
 
Seeing that she'll have good enough equipment, I'd like to see her have to make it in on time but once the hype machine gets rolling, you can be sure that she'll be in the race no matter what.

Personally, I believe she may have the ability to qualifying her way in but I'd like to see it.

The media and DW are going to have a field day with "Lady in Black ".
 
Isn't there another thread on this stupid top 35 thing ? I would say that Danica making the race will depend on her tires. If she doesn't blow a tire she will make the race. I would expect they will have to put a 'qualifying set up ' in the car and she will not do well in the race for that reason.

Personaly I hope she makes it in on time but you know if she dosent one of the S&P's will sell her a spot, kinda disgusting how it works anymore :(

Well here's the problem . If she does make it in on time , we will be talking about the unfair advantage she had with the qualifying set up. And subsequent poor race result for the same reason. If she doesn't get in on time ,we will be talking about some part failure or crew error . Either way , we ain't gonna be talkin about Timmy Hill. Kinda disgusting how that's gonna work . Hope she gets in on points ,then it will be a non issue.
 
Timmy Hill went back to Nationwide so he won't be making a qualifying attempt at Texas in Cup.

Ain't it though? It's gotten ridiculous. Wonder what she'd do if she had to qualify one of those TBR anchors?
 
Let's hope the weather outlook changes for this weekend's Texas race. Not looking good for this weekend but then again, it's only Tuesday.
