Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

UPDATE 4: Two days after racing in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, NASCAR driver Mike Harmon found himself being charged, again, by Rowan County Sheriff's detectives in an ongoing feud he's having with fellow driver and Camping World Truck Series team owner Jennifer Jo Cobb. On Sunday, Harmon was charged with obstruction of justice and released on $20,000 bond. Harmon is accused of stealing Cobb's race hauler. On Friday night he had his cell phone confiscated by deputies as they investigate the crime. Deputies are reportedly using his cell phone to track Harmon's GPS, text messages and phone calls. Another man, David Novak, is charged with conspiring to commit felony larceny and obstructing justice for admitting to deputies that he knew the location of the trailer but did not tell investigators. Novak is the former business partner of Cobb.(WBTV)(5-21-2013)

My guess (like it is worth anything) is that:

A. Harmon and Novak have clain the the trailer that Cobb will claim was "given" to her. They are currently in a legal battle.

or

B. She owes Harmon and Novak lots and lots of money that they figured they would just take what is "owed" to them now instead of going through the courts.

Going through her past incidents option A looks more like what is happening here. If the federal courts do side with Harmon on these incidents then I hope the sheriffs departments hand out some hefty apologies.

She was "cobbin" sugar daddy Novak and he rained down the gifts. Now he wants his stuff back..good luck with that. He will spend more getting it back than it is worth, just to let fat boy Novak use it and tear it up.

Well if you got it for her to "use", but didn't legally sign it over to her then it actually is his. If he did sign it over to her in her name then yeah that guy in a moron.

Since you are fishing for a response it's Fat Boy Harmon.

As the Hauler turns...looks from here that the Novak/Harmon camp snatched it and they aren't telling where it is. They busted Harmon's girlfriend and they couldn't sweat it out of her either. Using Harmon's GPS on his cell, they still haven't found it. Years ago I worked for a construction company and a competitor stole our dozer, backhoe, and grader. Police wouldn't do nothing. We found the stuff and stole it back. She gets all this action over a hauler trailer?

Charlotte winner gets special trophy: When drivers take to the track for the NASCAR Nationwide Series HISTORY 300 on Saturday, May 25, they'll be racing for more than just the bragging rights that come with winning at NASCAR's home track. Rick Dale of HISTORY's American Restoration has designed a one-of-a-kind trophy that will be awarded to the winner of the 300-mile race. As last year's Honorary Starter for the HISTORY 300, Dale awarded the trophy to the 2012 winner, Brad Keselowski, who mentioned that Dale should have designed the trophy as well. With Charlotte Motor Speedway's blessing, Dale embraced the challenge and designed 2013's HISTORY 300 trophy with a reverence for racing and its history. A 1940 Ford Coupe steering wheel, representing the beginning of stock car racing, forms the centerpiece of the trophy. Two gas pump nozzles from a 1936 North Carolina highway gas station, notoriously frequented by moonshine runners, provide the frame. A Custer Car drive gear completes the design, symbolizing the first go-kart a child builds when dreaming about becoming a race car driver.

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) announced today that Menards, the third-largest home improvement store in the United States, has signed a multi-year partnership renewal of the #27 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) entry driven by Paul Menard. Menards first partnered with RCR in 2011 and enjoyed a top-10 finish in the Daytona 500. Later that year, Menard scored his first NSCS victory by claiming the prestigious Brickyard 400 checkered flag at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. "It is great to have Paul Menard back in the #27 Menards Chevrolet as our driver," said Richard Childress, president and CEO of RCR. "He has shown his ability to be consistent, competitive and win on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series level. He did that in the Brickyard 400 (2011) with us at Indy. Having 'Slugger' Labbe (crew chief) and the entire crew coming back gives us something to build on to win more races, make The Chase and contend for a championship. We are very excited to continue our partnership with Menards. They are a great organization with strong customer service values who successfully use their racing program to promote their business. We couldn't be prouder to represent them as part of our race team and future."
"My family, all of our great team members at Menards and I are excited to extend our partnership with Richard and Richard Childress Racing," said Menard. "Being part of a family-owned and operated business I can relate to the team's goals and objectives. We will continue to grow together and build our relationship, achieving even greater accomplishments in the future."(RCR)(5-24-2013)

I call bull**** on this one. I can't stand Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the whole Patriots, Peyton Manning. I don't care for Kobe Bryant or LBJ and their teams. In MLB if you aren't on my team I don't care what you do. I know many people who feel this way. ESPN doesn't have a huge hatred for no reason. BSPN as I hear very often. A lot of people I know hate constant winner, or player and teams that are always talked about.

This.. Although I don't dislike Johnson or any of those guys cause they win, it's mostly their personalities.. either boring or too corporate.
