Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

Where would NASCAR get all those green turtles to put on the track? And if they did that wouldn't they have to throw a caution to clean the track?
I hear Florida is full of them. Maybe someone from there could chime in. As far as the debris, pjmolo had also pointed that out. I guess I really didn't think this whole thing through properly. :(

From WBTV.com:

ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -
Rowan County Sheriff's deputies are watching NASCAR driver Mike Harmon closely, after recovering two cars and five trucks from his two garages Tuesday afternoon. Deputies say Harmon stole the cars from racer Jennifer Jo Cobb at the end of last year.

The vehicles were seized from Harmon's shop in Mooresville, and from a storage facility in Catawba County, officials told WBTV.

Read/Watch the story here.

Harmon's an idiot. He should've let the courts sort it out. Honestly, his actions are going to keep her in the sport much longer. Now she's got support behind her and she might even manage to keep the money she owes him.

That woman is a con-artist, and he played right in to her games. It won't be long before there's more drama surrounding her though.

I really don't know how anyone can comment on this .We have no idea what went on here . We can only base an opinion on the size of his pants or her bra.

WOW! Judge, jury and hangman....

seven vehicles are not a piece of bubblegum, Harmon is right about that, sure would like to hear his explanation about how those stolen vehicles drove themselves into his garage.:idunno:

The story doesn't say . Could be he bought them from her , or she bought them from him and never paid. There is obviously a dispute.

Davey Allison, 1991 Bristol. Who's that young dude in the background?

Larry Mac???

I just realized Davey has been gone for almost twenty years. Dang!

Not an Indy fan and didn't see that race but do they still use the video game themed button for 'push to pass'? I know I used to use a form of that in Mario Kart. I think it was when I would run over a green turtle I would gain a boost in speed. Maybe NASCAR could adopt some sort of 'green turtle' or 'push to pass' method so that we can make our races more exciting? ;)

Lol, just saying. The Indy drivers had a hard time holding the lead last week. Aka the exact opposite problem we have here with NASCAR. Sure would nice if they could find a middle ground.

I think that's only used on road courses and street circuits now.

nascar already has push to pass. It's called the bump and run, but drivers these days are afraid to use it.

I think the second is more likely - that she didn't pay him. Still, he should have waited for the courts to sort out this mess. All he did, by acting on his own, was build up more sympathy for her. Next time she's on TV, she'll have crocodile tears and everyone will feel bad for her. She's better at playing the "poor little girl being bullied by the big bad men" card than Sarah Palin.

As much as I don't like Danica - at least she goes out there, races and puts it all out there.

I don't recall hearing P2P mentioned during the broadcast, and I know I never saw any of the usual graphics showing how many 'pushes' the leading drivers had left. I don't think they used P2P at Indy. I know they don't use it at other ovals, although the Indy straightaways are long enough to benefit from it. They didn't need it Sunday anyway!
