Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

Prelude to the Dream lineup: Tony Stewart, Busch brothers, Dillon brothers, Tony Kanaan, Danica Patrick, Ron Capps, Cruz Pedregon, Steve Kinser, Donny Schatz, Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Ryan Newman, Kasey Kahne, Bobby Labonte. Prelude to Dream is June 6 on HBO PPV.

Brad just can't catch a break with Tony. I have a feeling that Tony has gone out of his way to frustrate Kez's desire to race the Prelude by inviting his teammate, Justin Allgaier last year, and even opting to invite Newmans friend Kurt while passing Brad up this year. Tony has called Brad a punk and refuses to even talk to him. Is Tony still pissed that Brad raced him hard back in 2009? Other than Tony running Brad into the wall at Phoenix in 2010, I can't think of any real incidents between these 2.

One notable Prelude absence: Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Tony: "If he calls in the next 30 minutes, I'll have a car for him in the next 35 minutes."

If I remember correctly, either the 1st or 2nd year, Tony invited Dale to race --- but he turned him down saying he didn't want
to be the center of attention instead of the others doing the racing. I know Dale waved the green at the 1st race.

I've read the same.

Example of a pit road speed report presented to teams after a race. This one is for Landon Cassill after Darlington. 50.01 is speeding and would be a penalty.

Maybe, "I hope this dude wearing capri pants doesn't have my home address"

At least I think it's a guy

I didn't see the pit road map this time but maybe by the time that he was getting to the 9th pit segment, positions were pretty much already established. IDK but I do see what you're saying.

I see it all the time. If there is nobody else waiting to come out, drivers often back off and start lining up for their return to the track.

Ok I gotta ask. What the hell is mang??????????????????

LOL
Listen to an interview with a Dominican Baseball Player or talk to a Latin Musician and you will understand!
The gringo translation would be, "Pretty sharp, man!"
LOL

Well I guess since you are in Cali you do need THAT accent.

I have to apologize ahead of time for those of you that are offended by releasing information that is in the NASCAR rule book but here is what is says on the current list of approved models from the manufacturers.

Today I found a second nascar fan here in NY. A JJ fan in from Alabama to see the 9-11 memorial and some other NYC sights bumps into another nascar fan. What are the chances of that?
