Are you talking about on nascar.com? They did have one for years until last season, I think. I liked watching that in the past because it really shows where these drivers are gaining or losing speed. Glad to hear it's back as it does make qualifying somewhat more exciting to watch.

Thats pitcommand qualifying, its been on trackpass on nascar.com for years and was the best until now. This is also on nascar.com but is new and in the raceview format itself. unfortunately you must have a subscription to watch it. I enjoy raceview because they are constantly improving it and the virtual cars and surroundings like the grandstands and crowds. It looks a lot like a very good video game and the time lapse most of the time is just a few seconds.

With no NASCAR official at the podium when he entered the Charlotte Motor Speedway media center Thursday, #17-Matt Kenseth took control of the situation and introduced himself. "Joining us in the media center right now is Matt Kenseth," he deadpanned. "He comes in second in points. Don't know where he finished last year. Matt, why don't you talk about it." Kenseth scooted from behind the podium microphone to his usual seat at the table and started answering his own question, to the guffaws of a roomful of reporters.(CMS Pit Notes)(5-25-2012)

Matt is hilarious.

Kind of reminds me of a media room episode at the Chili Bowl once, where the Hooters girls were there, but none of the top three drivers. So, there was a impromptu interview with them.

Brian Scott's KBM truck to be run at Dover. The crazy lady on the Jeff Gordon Network fan forum is gonna freak be cause she forgets that Dupont is free to sponsor whomever they please.

Anyone know which day they post the entry list for the weekends race ? I see Robbybee has picked Vickers for this weekend and I didn't know he was entered.

Go to jayski and have a look. That's where I get them but don't know which day they're released.

I actually got this bit of info from the Yahoo! Fantasy Game. He is one of my C drivers too.

Red Horse Racing suspends operations on its No. 7 Toyota truck. John King drove it to a victory in the season opener at Daytona.

You must be looking at Robbies picks from last weekend ( the 600 ) you can't see this weeks until their locked in.

When I bought my Michigan tickets the other day I noticed on the seating chart that the all of the grandstands between 3 and 4 were gone. Upon further review I learned that MIS now has a grandstand starting capacity of only 85,000. That's a far cry from when they seated 136,000 in 2008.

(I'm such a dork that I actually emailed Jayski so that he could update the info on his site [he did]. I also plan to update Wikipedia)

Now there is an ownership group that should be able to come up with a sponsor. A former Mobil Oil exec and Jeff Hammond . Between them they bring about everything to the table , inclunding thousands of business contacts. Hard to believe how bad this economy is.

Earnhardt Jr has a new PR guy. For anyone interested in following on Twitter, @MikeHoag88

.........and now MIS can charge more for the 85,000 seats that are left. Supply and demand.

Prices went up $6. Kids 17 and under still half off. But they have a $99 package that includes 4 tix, 4 soft drinks and 4 hot dags. Parking is always free.

$6 increase isn't all that bad....i Guess. That 4 ticket package sounds good, if the seats aren't lousy.

MIS is a tradeoff. Sit high, far from the action and see all around the track or sit low, be close to the action but can't see parts of the other end of the track. My complaint about MIS is that it's just too big. The 1.5 mile tracks offer vastly superior viewing. However, when you live less than an hour from a track that holds Cup races, you don't pass up the opportunity to go to the races.

While on the MIS website the today I noticed that my credit union is a sponsor at the track. So on a whim, I called them (my CU) up and asked if they had any tickets available for members. Well they gave me a pair of tickets to the August Cup race pretty close to start finish. I guess it never hurts to ask, right? Feels good to have that all locked up and know that I won't have to deal with buying tickets in a couple of months. :)

She is one beautiful young lady. She's been racing for over 21 years according to the segment I saw on ESPN the other day.
