Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

The options are not slicks … they have the same tread pattern as the wets.

More confusion.

I would bet some money that there is little if any difference in the durometer readings comparing wets and options.

Nonsense IMO. Other series deal with slower cars every race.
Is the closing rate that much greater than, say, new tires vs. 60-lap tires at Darlington? If closing rate is an issue, raise and ENFORCE the minimum speed. Some of those lap-down guys at plate races are allowed to continue menacing navigation.

It's a B.S. excuse to keep control and to be able to throw a caution (commercials). If they are staying out on slicks they will be making pretty decent pace or they would come in and put the wets on. The same goes from switching off the wets to slicks. They aren't going to stay long on wets when it starts getting dry.

Funny how we started with rumors of NASCAR at Dodger Stadium and end up with baseball at Bristol.

I use to listen to it all the time back when I was a kid. Was sitting here just listening to music and that song popped in my head and had to throw it on. Glad I was able to introduce someone to it!
I looked up his stuff the talladega song is funny too.
