Really Kyle?

Good call by Nascar. For Kyle this has to be a torture.
I am not wanting him to be miserable or suffer, life is to short for that kind of stuff.

But I do hope he feels enough regret to learn something from it, and grows up, this is his Achilles heel.

In spite of his claims, sooner or later he is going realize he was wrong.

x2

I won't say what I think about Kyle because it's pretty much been said. I just wanna say that I'm proud of Nascar for stepping up and doing the right thing!

I think if you read back through this thread, you will see LOTS of rectums. Just saying. :beerbang:

"............NASCAR president Mike Helton announced the ruling to the media Saturday morning at Texas Motor Speedway.

“The responsibility that over the past two or three seasons we’ve given back to the drivers came with a very clear understanding that there could be a line that got crossed,” Helton said. “And as annoying as the comments that I’ve made personally in the past about, ‘We’ll know it when we see it’ might have been, we saw it last night..............”

So Kyle Busch is being made to take responsibility for HIS OWN actions?

My old man made me do that when I was 12...so why shouldn't he? And where else on this planet is a 25 y/o MAN permitted to act as he does?

How anyone can defend him is beyond any comprehenson which I can muster.

For an egomaniac like Busch, all of the attention that he's getting out of this is the next best thing. Watchig Holier-than-thou Joe Gibbs have to squirm is almost as good as seeing all of the highly respected people in NASCAR unanimously condemn his driver.

Stewart wants a boxing ring at the track, I say a tree and rope would be better. ;)

KB's last tweet "guys did a nice job w a great Traxxas Tundra for tomorro nite's race. Looking forward to Cup and NW cars!"

LOL!

Pee Wee makes it very hard for anyone to defend him. But Kurt, Harvick and Edwards still have fans, so...

Agreed. Racers want to race, and sitting them out for a week is a he'll of a lot worse than any money or points penalties.

Kyle is a guy who lives to race. Him having to watch someone else drive his car Sunday would hurt him more than anything.

Last year, the media tried to make Kyle into a racing God based on his dominance of the little leagues. This year, the media has been all over Keselowski while Kyle stinks up the chase while he hasn't had the minor leagues to fall back on.

He sure made Kurts radio rants seem like mild stuff.

Please explain how Kyle was "stinking up the chase.". Up until last week, he was within 15 points, and was looking to gain ground until the Kenseth incident, and then made worse by his crew completely blew the stop to make repairs.

Sure, he's done for now, but up until now he's been far from the "meltdown" some of you have been claiming.

Well, I think we saw the meltdown last night.

Soooooooo CALLED IT!! :beerbang:

I can't believe NASCAR parked Kyle. What Carl did to Brad (twice) was worse.

LOL Andy, you are truely amazing. No matter what anyone does, it should have been some other way. If Kyle wins, he shouldn't have because of <fill in the blank> If ESPN runs an ad with 50 to go, they should have run it at 51 to go. on and on

Why didn't they do this TWICE last year with Carl? This is something I wanted NASCAR to explain, but Helton evaded the question by saying "We took points from Carl". BS, you took only what he gained at Gateway, but took NOTHING after Atlanta.

no doubt carl should have been suspended. just a guess, but i don't think nascar ever expected someone to do something that stupid ever again. they were wrong.

You are clearly clueless. This is not about Carl, this is about Kyle. And what Kyle did deserves a LOT MORE than being parked for one weekend. Maybe you should become a fan of Professional Chess playing. Not much gray area in the rules of Chess.

To be fair, the gray areas does cause alot of problem for the NASCAR officials. It causes them to be inconsistent with the rulings, but they won't clamp down because then they won't have any drama or rivalry to promote over the course of the year.

But let's be clear. There IS NO GRAY AREA with what Kyle did. He CLEARLY wrecked another driver under CAUTION. And not just bumped him or rubbed him, he flat out wrecked him on purpose.

I completely agree. There ARE some instance where there is no gray area, and this is one of them.

Who made you the decision maker on what is grey or wrong and what isn't?

Come on man, if it happens under caution, it is what it is, and Kyle is a moron.

Demo derby's are for the fair. Go there if you want to watch guys who aren't competing for a championship wreck guys who are.

Doesn't take the City D.A. to see that the little terd had another meltdown, and got most of what should be coming to him with nascars suspension. I still think he needs a couple broken bones to go with it.

I forgot about the other time Kyle cost Ron a truck championship. Thank you, Tom Jensen.

"For that matter, nothing at all happened to Busch at Michigan in 2008, when he drove into Hornaday on the last lap of the Truck Series race and spun him out. Instead of finishing seventh, where he was running, Hornaday finished 23rd. He lost the series championship to Johnny Benson that year by seven points."

Honestly, if I were Hornaday I would be on the track if Kyle ever gets close to winning a Cup championship.
