See any good movies lately?

I have watched The Expendables, The Expendables 2 and The Expendables 3. Man, I love those types of movies. You all probably hated them but I love them, shoot em up, action adventure.

Havn't seen 3 yet, but loved the first two.

Just started "Into The Storm". I would say it's "Twister 2" as others have called it, but so far, I'm pretty sure it's just a modern remake of Twister.

The next movie im paying money to see in theaters will be Avengers 2.

The Interview.

I saw over the weekend that the movie is free on Netflix so we watched it. It was exactly what I expected. I'm not a fan of any particular actor in the film so I don't necessarily like or dislike any of them. While I wouldn't have paid to see it in a theater I thought some of it was pretty funny and other attempts at humor, not so much. No different that most any other movie out there today. If you want a laugh, give it a view.

Got roped into seeing "The Boy Next Door" a couple nights ago. F--king terrible. It was basically a Lifetime movie with a little more violence.

It looks pretty bad just from the trailer I've seen. I won't even add it to my Netflix queue

Watched The Gambler a few weeks ago. Decent movie that had the potential to be great, but unfortunately it felt as though the movie was "rushed". 6.5/10

Finally watched Ted recently too. Had low expectations even though everyone seemed to think it was hilarious. It started off strong but gradually declined in humor. 7/10

I just watched Lucy a few weeks ago. I went into it merely expecting a fun little sci-fi/action movie, and that's essentially what it was. I liked the whole premise and philosophical aspect of it. My only real complaint is that it was too short. Morgan Freeman played the perfect role, and I love Scarlett Johansson and will watch pretty much anything with her in it - speaking of which, that movie "Her" was very good too.

I also recently saw "Men, Women, and Children," a kind of artsy-fartsy slice of life movie that was actually much better than I thought it would be. I definitely recommend it.

Haven't seen Unfinished Business, but, honestly, I don't think you could pay me to watch this thing.

I liked Lucy too but was disappointed with the ending.

I have a dvd collection for when the TV schedule is subpar. Watched Earth Girls Are Easy recently (funny movie with A-list actors when they were young).

Kingsman = worth your money.

Very clever tounge n cheek humor. Great action sequences, but not over the top michael bay status. Overall a 8/10 for a winter movie.

Just saw Birdman. I didn't really see where it was Best Picture worthy, but an entertaining movie nonetheless.

American Sniper.Pretty good movie.Opens your eyes to the kind of split second decisions these guys have to make over there.

I'm watching The Monuments Men. I'll let you know if I like it or not.

I did like it, I'd like to see it again. I was posting online and watching the movie at the same time. Perhaps sometime, it will come back on and I can watch it a second time.

Batman v Supernan

The single worst movie I have ever seen in my life. The dialogue was meant for 12 year olds.

Never mind the way the characters were portrayed.

Risen

A different take on the events of Jesus' death and resurrection. It's about a Roman soldier investigating what happened to his body. I liked it, and thought that Joseph Fiennes did a great job with his role.
